Meowzer, I am a little disappointed in the sand issue. SWF won't let me purchase live sand using the credit I got from the dead coral. I have save that credit all this time just for that. I don't want to use my points until the new tank is ready.

WOW!!!! Just shows what team work and a little dedication can do!!!! Again thanks to all!!!!
Flower to get the sump in you will have to stand it on end with the skimmer section/intake section on the floor, and the return section in the air, with the top facing to your left. You will have to start the return section in first, then lift up, and then the bottom should go in. Then you just have to lay it down into position. The Fuge shoul just go in; in the correct orientation!!!
Hope some of what I typed make sense
I think I drilled the holes on the wrong side of the fuge - I think I was supposed to drill them on the long side, I hope Flower can get it in and turn it. Damm

But I did still meet the minimum amount, I wanted copepods besides and that made the order, even with the credit over $100.00..with my not being able to use the credit I can't afford the copepods, just the live sand. (pout) I'm too happy with the sump to really be bummed about anyting.

All is well! I used 340 points to redeem..and I have the copepods..it comes out to the same price so all is good. I ordered 40lbs of live sand..I will have enough for my new fuge and some to seed the sand in the new tank. I have it set up to come on Friday so I can have water and everything all ready.
I got the skimmer put together...I can't wait to see that in action. All the parts are so nice and heavy duty compared to what I'm used to dealing with. LOL...For now the sump and fuge are my center piece on the coffee table where I an look at it all I want..

I just checked the original measures and you did. It won't fit through the door, its a half inch too large to make it.
End to end is 40 inches so it will still fit. I will ask my boss, who has been very supportive and knows about the thread and everything to please come and take out that middle brace, then replace it for me after the sump and fuge is in place. he may not be able to come out soon as I had hoped to get it up and running...but I'm pretty sure he will help. I will bribe him with an offer of breakfast.
So don't fret...you did good..I love it!

I haven't tried anything yet..I will make an effort before I ask my boss... I really hate to remove that brace even for a moment, that tank weighs a ton and I'm afraid...I still have the canisters under there and the 10g tank for top offs. I did get one of those skinny tubs for wrapping paper for a top off holding tank. Until I have the sump installd I don'thave anyplace to run the skimmer, so how could I break it in?
Anyway I haven't gone to bed yet and I work tonight, so I'm going to go take shower and sleep a bit...well, I will try to anyway.

When you get ready to leave for work you could fill the tub and run it in the tub while your gone and your mom is sleeping.

Well good work on getting it all there in one piece guys. Conrgradulations, Flower. Hopefully there is a way to wedge it in there without having to remove the center vertical piece. I think your stand is constructed alot like the way my 55g stand is and if that's the case then removing that center piece might be a bit of a pain since it supports another piece that the bottom of the tank sits on from front to back. I'll take some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about and let us know if yours is the same Flower, because if it is then I think I have a couple of ideas of what you can do to make it work without risking any damage to the display tank with your bosses help. If it comes down to that.
Again, beautiful work guys, Al, Shawn, Slice and everyone who contributed in anyway shape or form. I'm jealous now, I'm gonna have to make me a custom sump/fuge!

I am so mad I did that what we might be able to do is put it in like we originally planned and then plumb the fuge return around the fuge and into the sump return. I am gonna have to do a drawing. Stand by people - back to the drawing screen.

I am so happy that it got there in one piece flower. Great Job everyone.. Makes my heart warm that this has had the happy ending it was supposed to from the start. It is a blessing that there are people that are willing to go the extra Mile to help others out because in this day and age people like that are few and far between. It is a Honor to me to know people like this, that I talk to, that help others, that look past themselves, put their needs aside and look at the needs of others. I feel truly blessed and thank you got letting me be a part of this and that I was able to see something like this happen, God Bless everyone that has done even the smallest of things to make this happen for Ms. Flower.

I don't see what the big deal is....unless I am just not seeing the whole picture...
It's the same size...right.....so it will still fit....the tubing is flexible, so can't it just curve

I had wondered that myself Al. But then I thought how tight the space was going to be between the sides of the tank and the stand. Just wondering if the one bulkhead that would be furthest away from the sump would make it.
In my minds eye I think it could still be fit in there and turned. But to do so would require holding it in the air while the corners cleared the opening in the front and back of the stand untill it was fully rotated the 90 degrees and then set down. If Flowers boss is willing to help I think/ I hope it could be managed.

Maybe clear tubing would be the best idea meowzer. Put a 90 deg elbow with a barb hose fitting and flexible tubing to the sump return.
