Looks good man... With all that LR in there your gonna end up having a sweet Nano Display instead of a frag tank!

Why did you get rid of the racks?

wanted a nano look, but keep it a frag tank....yeah usually you have racks in a frag tank, but that doesnt decide its a frag tank..i think..but thanx...

i got a bunch of live rock from a buddy at work, so i added some to my frag tank... still not happy, im thinking of taking out the sand bed completely cause i have a fuge running in the stand...this will add to my volume.

lately im thinking either bare bottom or a lite coating of sand. i am however in the works of planning instead of sand as a sand bed i will use crushed up pieces of live rubble. the pic will show you. everytime i bust up a rock to make rubble for frags or just for the fuge. i keep the little pieces or rubble. when i help people move tanks i take there left over "shake". this will make a nice layer of rubble that will take the place of a sand bed. this will be very beneficial towards everything.
there will be more rock for bacteria, i can use larger pieces for frags. and if a frag were to ever pop off either from the DT or the FT, i can throw it in the frag tank and it will attach to the live rubble. with that i can glue the frag down to either a bigger piece of live rock or frag disc or frag plug, etc.

i did replace the bulbs in this tank too. i switched the two VHO bulbs to 03 actinics, and the 70w halide went from a 14k to a 10k for growth. but the VHO still gives the coral that pop...

just some updates. i recently upgraded the koralia nano's with koralia #1's. nice flow for this tank. also looking to upgrade the halide from a 70w to a 150w....also will be changing the 10g sump to a 15g sump and adding a ETSS reef devil skimmer to the system....

so today im going to go get the new 15g tank for the sump, i will order by 2marrow a skimmer. i will be adding the ETSS in a couple months, so for now im looking at the tunze 9002 nano skimmer, or the ASM-mini, or the octo NW110...
i did upgrade the MH bulb, i replaced the cheap ---- bulb with a ushio 10K, tanks looks great. much better shimmer with a good brand bulb. i also picked up 40lbs of live rock to split between this and my 125DT. so all in all this tank will get a good over haul by next week end. i will post pics as the process goes.
