Your premise is much more difficult to discuss. As you have pointed out, you would consider the Communist purges of the 20th century to be the fault of religion. I would not. You consider the Nazi purge the fault of religion, I would not, etc.

Ok I have one question that I have NEVER been able to get answered. There for that is why im not a religious person.
If god created everything.......who created god?
Im one of them kind of people that likes proof of something, you know. I want to KNOW that im doing something for a reason and not just because some one 500 years ago decided they were going to make a fairy tale and have every one believe them.
I dont want any one taking this in a bashing way, I just want some one to answer my question and I will go to church every sunday then.

GOOFBALL??!!! ME??? NEVER!!!

its not that much more difficult to discuss... Hitler murdered Jews... he hated them for their religious beliefs and felt that made them the most impure... religion is the motive for the murders... is said IF one did not conform to the communist orthodox church Stalin would have them killed... again religion is the motive...

Sorry to say that this is where faith comes in. Faith is believing in something without proof. It's like believing in evolution of species. Not a single bit of evidence that one species turned into another, yet so many believe it happened.

The Bible, if you believe it, teaches God was always in existence. He was never created.
Not believing in God doesn't get you around this question. You still have to answer where the original matter comes from and the energy that put the creation of the universe comes from...

Hitler hated everybody . Had the jewish people not been as abundant and peacful as they were he would not have targeted them in such a mannor . Its actually very basic in psychological warfare .

There are many Jews that are not active in Judaism. Crimzy, for example. If Hitler would have killed him would it have been a religious killing? Some of the "perfect" Jewish children were spared and brainwashed. They were spared in spite of their religion.

absolutely... why beause he is guilty by association... practicing or not if you claim a faith you are "of" that faith...

So does that mean You or I or Socal57 would also be religious targets for talking to crimzy ? By your logic we are all now jewish sympathizers even though I my self am not affilitated with any religion .

why not... heck the entire human race could be as soon as we all get done twisting sentences around... if you happened to be wearing a kippah i would easily mistake you for being of jewish faith... by speakin to your lawyer who happens to be jewish would not make me think youre jewish...
