Figured I'd wet some appetites with what will go into the tank first.
I should come home from FL with:
purple people eaters
orange people eaters
lunar eclipse
mohawks
radio active dragon eyes
chameleon people charmers (my favorite)
twilight pink
tub's blue
bam bams
Darth Maul
Vivid Aquariums' rainbows
Vivid Aquariums' green speckled
Vivid Aquariums' Rainbow Aussie acan
ricordea fl - metallic green, green, blue, orange, and orange and blue
and shortly there after I should pick up from a local reefer:
Atlantis Meteor Shower Cyphastrea Ocellina (not doing so hot)
Vivid Aquariums' Hot Lava Echinophyllia
Vivid Aquariums' TieDie Aussie Lord acan
Tyree Watermelon Chalice
I also have Vivid Aquariums' rainbow delight acropora in that same reefer's tank, but he'll hold that for a while longer.

Nice Office and great job making it very comfortable for yourself
.
Cant wait to see how this tank turns out.
How are you stocking this, peaceful reef?
I recommend some cool inverts. like for starters get some scarlets in their lol
then move up down the list you made=P

thanks
peaceful reef although I may add a harlequin shrimp and I guess they aren't too peaceful

since my tank is mostly artificial rock there isn't uch to scavange and I'm not a big fan of crabs anyways. I may add one or 2 down the road, but not now.

Is there such a thing as too much bioload from zoas at the begining? Seems like a lot of stuff for adding at once

I'm sure there is, but these will be frags. Most will probably less than 10 polyps each so it shouldn't be much different than buying 1 decent size colony. I think most of the bioload would come from target feeding them, which I will definitely have to ease into.

Tested water and changed the water, params were all great
First additions to the tank
, sorry no pics until I get back from vacation.
I add 1 cerith, 1 margarita, and 1 nassarius snail, a 3 polyp frag that looks like darth maul but we'll see (it had just come in to the LFS hadn't made it to their tank yet), 1 polyp of green grandis, and 10 polyps of a blue paly, maybe blue hex. I couldn't resist $26 for all of that

I'm on my way home with some really nice stuff but I'm a little worried about bio-load. The highlights are probably 30+ darth mauls, 40+ tubs, and 40+ mohawks I also have some acans, micros, and rics.

I'll take one polyp of each, you can drop them off in SW Fla on your way home.

Very nice - cant wait to see it stocked. Its going to be beautiful

Honestly I was amazed. I took small frags of my favorite stuff and put it in my mom's LPS tank in Jan. Everything seemed to explode with growth in her tank. After everything adjusts to my tank I'll be fragging and trading.
