He doesn't have any white spots or...other such things...one of the snouts looked a bit white, kinda like snout rot.

Its not the guy with the white on his snout (which is getting better btw) it is the other guy. No no spots or other signs of illness. He did get up to eat live bryne this morning but is resting again now. Maybe just needing more time to recover?

I hope so. As long as he is eating. I think Darth said something about when horses get malnurished, that sometimes they never fully recover. But as long as he's happy and eating
I wouldn't worry too much.
The one thing I would caution you on is keep you water changes up. Keep an eye out for the little white worms...and as Darth said keep using that marine vitamin stuff to recharge their immune systems.

If he stops eating you have a problem. He may just be lazy or still getting over malnutrition/weakness. As Rykna pointed out. It has been my experience Some seahorses just never get to being as active again.

He is up and about again today!!!
Maybe just getting his strength back! He is very thin in comparisson to the other!!
This guy had finally gotten a name, we have decided on Valient for him so now we just need one more name and all 4 horses will have names!

Really...what would this board be like without a kuda named Valient...just hasn't been the same. Good, strong name.

No~ not at all. I think Valient is a wonderful name. Great minds think alike

Thanks girl, you rock!! And are SO right about great minds!!!

They are both still hanging tight!!!!!
It has been almost 2 weeks since I got them!!! I'm so glad they haven't gotten worse! They just seem sad, or maybe it is just b/c they were in such poor shape.

Awesome!!!! Hmmmm....they're both males, right? In a big tank...with no women

Yeah no woman.....YET!!
I think I would want someone as big as they are right?? If I got on that is too little, would they pick on her??? But I have been looking to see what I can find. Or even a healthy male to inspire them to be happy maybe??
And they are both DEF males!!

I can't think of anything that seahorses pick on...well, except the food they're given. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but if they would pick on a smaller addition to their tank, wouldn't they also pick on newborns? They don't...do they?
