lol what IS a top priority for our president? Is anything he said he'd do in order to become president important?....cause I haven't seen it happen...
The reason why I said email Obama is because he is the top guy in our country. This hasn't been taken care of as a state issue, and should be in a country-wide format. Why in th world would beastilaity be legal anywhere? Honestly, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. There is nothing within the Bill of Rights or any Amendment that suggests we should be allowed to molest an animal without government butting in.

oh come on, have you never "relieved" a stallion before going into a horse show? The last thing you want is a foot long dong hanging down, and him deciding he's going to forget about you and take care of business, while you're riding...

IMO not a responsibility of the federal government. Should be left to the states, or the people. I am not seeing anywhere in Article 1 section 9 that says anything about regulating bestiality.
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
To borrow money on the credit of the United States;
To regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes;
To establish a uniform rule of naturalization, and uniform laws on the subject of bankruptcies throughout the United States;
To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures;
To provide for the punishment of counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States;
To establish post offices and post roads;
To promote the progress of science and useful arts, by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings and discoveries;
To constitute tribunals inferior to the Supreme Court;
To define and punish piracies and felonies committed on the high seas, and offenses against the law of nations;
To declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water;
To raise and support armies, but no appropriation of money to that use shall be for a longer term than two years;
To provide and maintain a navy;
To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces;
To provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions;
To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the states respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of the government of the United States, and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings;--And
To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof.

I was about to throw this into a political thread and offer you a bunch of examples that are not within those guidelines that our federal government tends to choose to do which we really don't need....but I'll attempt to keep this on the topic of beastilality :)

I think the issue is relevant, however, jokes about the issue is just crass. Lets keep it on the discussion level rather deteriorating into perverted jokes.

I figured you'd enjoy that one. But you have to admit, it's hard discussing something like this without the jokes. I mean, how can you have a serious conversation about something that this form of 'addiction' only affects maybe 1 in 300,000 people in the US, if that. I don't even think one of these controversial shows on HBO or Showtime would even touch this subject, and they show some REAL weird things regarding fetishes like this.

Actually, this has been known to be a common practice with sheep herders in foreign countries. Especially in the desert regions where herders can be out for months at a time with their herds.

Just a SWAG. Someone get on Google and ask the question - "How many people in the US practice beastiality?" I'd do it, but I'd set off alarms on our Proxy Server.

from Wikipedia:
The Kinsey reports controversially rated the percentage of people who had sexual interaction with animals at some point in their lives as 8% for men and 3.6% for women, and claimed it was 40–50 percent in people living near farms,[7] but some later writers dispute the figures, because the study lacked a random sample, and because the prison population was included, causing sampling bias.

That is the best I could find...
