Heck Mrs Michelle Obama has come out as a birther. She said she and the President visited his "home country" of Kenya.

Reef most of the people I hang out with are Independent voters as am I and let's just say that 15 months of Obama has not erased 8 years of conservatism, deny if you want, but there was also a good reason why conservatives ended up out as well. More likely most people are going to have to decide if they are so unhappy with Obama that they are willing to put up with how far-right the Republican's have wandered. Every time I see Palin speak, McCain do a 180, Lindsey Graham get called gay by his own party for not being conservative enough or Newt call for the Tea Party to become the militant arm of the conservative party, why would any of that sell me on voting GOP? The party needs to tone down on the crazy a little, stop being just the party of no and come up with some valid answers and better choices to vote for which is another issue I have, why is the family values party going to let Vitter and Ensign hang around? Plenty to say bad about the dems too with the crappy health care bill, failure to do anything about the border and still not allowing gays in the military despite being happy to have the gay vote. It's a turd sammy I tell ya all the way around yet again.

I don't know where you people come up with the Republicans have moved to the right, it's complete BS. In the roughly 5 years they had the white house and both houses of Congress there was no push for paycheck protection, right to work, parental notification for abortions, no push to reduce funding for NPR or PBS. Bush expanded Medicare and the federal department of education. Hardly the record of a strong conservative.
The reason the Republicans got the boot was they acted just like Democrats once they had the power.

Reef, I don't seem to remember people showing up armed at political rallies when Bush was president. Maybe going further right is not the correct phrase, but the far-right has surely pi
cked up on all the bad habits the far-left displayed and has been happy as a pig in mud. The loudest message I hear coming out of the right these days is Obama is a socialist or a secret Kenyan born muslim or bat poop crazy Bachman waving a "Don't Tread on Me" flag from the top of Congress. Meanwhile the far-left is pretty quite and seem to have the smarts to remain that way while the Tea Party which is going to be linked to the GOP is divinding your party and continuing to look for birth certificates. If the GOP can field some serious canidates that are really concerned with fixing the country instead of pandering to the Tea Party which is about a 18 percent vote, let me know.

And again I gotta say I don't know where you come up with this crap. Tea Party is about spending and taxes. There might be a few birthers in the mix but that certainly isn't an issue driving the rallies. ONE, exactly one person at a rally was seen with a gun. Guess what race the guy was? You'd never know it was a black guy watching the main stream media who talked about white people with guns protesting a black president.
Watch a Clip of Chris Matthew's show from Sunday. There were a couple idiots (other than the host) talking about how awful it was that some on the right call it the "Obama Ragime". Funny but it was Joe Kline from Time magazine who broght that up and he himself used the term regime about Bush as did the host on numerous occasions. The left is becoming unhinged at this point. I mean they are scared of Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin? She had about as much chance of being elected as you or me

Actually I was talking about the one that happened recently on the same day as the Oklahoma bombing and the first conflict in the revolution. Obama gets an F on gun control, signs the bill that allows them to open carry in a National Park and these people are still having an absolute fit and there is no way these are Dems or Libs. Even worse every liberal news network is covering the story.
Sorry, but I am not buying into the conservatives are going to save the country anymore than I do when Obama says it. Your also not going to convince me either party has anything but there own best interests in mind and running the country is second to collecting power and wealth. The conservatives had a perfect chance to really get down to business and they have blown it IMHO.
I did not like the far-lefts behavior during the Bush years and what conservatives are doing is just as bad, except it it's your team it is somehow justified. To me someone standing in Washington D.C. with a sign that depicts either Bush or Obama as Hitler is giving aid and comfort to the enemy, I know that is a pretty far-left and liberal stance, but that is just me.

All the claims comparing Obama to Hitler and Stalin, yet it is conservatives who are passing a law so you have to make sure your papers are in order if you travel in the state of Arizona.

You see people with pictures of Obama with a Hitler mustache and a bullet hole in the head like the left did with Bush? I am not excusing either side but the left is a whole lot more mean spirited than the right. You honestly think Obama has changed his anti gun agenda? He has a lot of proposals ne want that Congress wont act on.
I favor true conservatism because it means less government. Less is better. I think you put someone like Newt in charge good things will happen. Unfortunately I don't think he's electable.

How many movies about assasinating the President have come from the right? No one should do it, free speech comes with some responsibility. The last man to kill a President was a communist.
My taxes only went up by $10,000 so far, I can't wait until next year.

LOL, you guys need to grow up and admit the right is just as screwed-up as the left and the Tea Party is nothing more than the extreme branch of the GOP. When a real third party comes along that has the best interests of the country in mind then sign me up, until then I am going to just vote for who I think is going to damage the country the least. That means moderate politicians, which means Democrats because moderate Republicans are rare or extinct. I look at a clearly senile McCain and Palins continued messages of ????? and don't think they would have been doing a better job of running the country and for a bonus we probably would have been at war with Iran by now. Prove me wrong and tell me who you have for a valid person to run for president? Remember, Romney is pro-health care except when a Dem comes up with it and that alone will sink him, Newt, is also worthless unless you can forget and forgive his numerous lapse of moral judgement which is hard because the right is the party of family values.
