ok as long as I don't have to take 1 zoa polyp worth 35 dollars. And that is the ONLY polyp.
Your initial $60 investment should net you I would think 3 to 5 polyps of each variety in 4 to 6 months if all goes according to plan.

I'd hate to kill it... I'm not worried about how many polyps I get out of the deal, I just don't particularly want to have 1 $35 polyp, and my clown decide he doesn't like it there, and move it to somewhere else in the tank... And I kill the stock.

Yeah I understand your point. I have the same concern with only getting 1 polyp. Your clown moves your zoas?

If it is on a piece of rubble, she'll pick up the whole rock, and move it. I lost one frag of zoas that way. It had 2 polyps on it. The bigger frags of zoas I have are fine. I'm probably going to get a frag rack just so I don't lose tiny frags.

i usually just superglue the little piece of rubble their on to the rockwork. That way i never have anything fall over, or have a fish knock it off.

Yeah I always glue small frags to a larger piece of rock. Usually use broken piece of live rock. I made a frag rack out of eggcrate and a magnafloat. Works really good and you can move it up and down in the tank easily.

What did we decide to do if someone ends up killing a zoa? I thought mabye we could just make them either buy, or donate one of their rare zoas in place of the one they killed, relitively equal to the zoa they killed. And the rest of the group can decide if it will be an equal trade.
im not sure if we already decided something, just throwing my opinoin out there. If one of the zoas never opens , or melts soon after opening, then i guess we will have to decide what to do at that point.
I guess having everyone dipping them in iodine would help to keep them from melting and help keep pests off of them.

I think they should have an option of buying back in, or not. Assuming they kill $60 of zoas. The person kills his zoas, so he pays for the zoas he lost as if we never purchased them, then he gets his share. Seems fair. If it is not negligence they shouldn't be screwed out of their frags.

Did that picture look familiar to you? Like maybe someone "borrowed" the zoa frag picture for the avitar...
