yet another order gone bad from zoafrags...i wouldnt be suprised if they melt away, and from the looks of it thats where they are headed
kinda like going into someones house and telling them their carpet is ugly........None of the ones in the pic look like they are melting away, they look like their closed up after being fragged and shipped.
I to am curious as to the negative vibe I'm getting from some people regarding this. One day in you get another order gone bad.
Regardless of your views on the vendor, why not have your fingers crossed that we do get 12 good frags.

That is pretty much the status as of right now. I still think they will be fine as they have not regressed any at all.

Regardless 4 out of 13 not open in 3 days is pretty rough as far as the quality of the product.

I think that those that have had negative experiences with this vendor just want others to have the same results so they can justify their anger with the vendor. JMO.

I think time is all they need. The volcanics I got from there took over a week to finally settle in and open. They are doing great now.

Man, I was about to place an order with zoafrags this weekend. THink I will have to pass on that after all. Well fragged zoas shouldn't take more than a day to open.

Zoas are real hardy, saying they are rare is a way to get more money for them. They are not any harder to grow, some just grow slower than others.
Mine look bad and they were only nubs when I got them. Looks to me like they were fragged bad. Like they tried to peel away as less as possible when they were fragged.
The company should have them fragged and healed up properly before selling them. If you just freshly frag them the way they do, it will always be a hit and miss on our end.
Maybe he shouldn't try and sell them by the head and get two to three or more heads per sale for a safety net.
Zoas grow like weeds in my tank and always have. So these should be no difference. I jumped right in on this last minute because of a bailout. I should have researched this guy and his rep first, which is what I always do.
If a lot of them go south on us, then I feel he should replace them with some good frags. You could possibly blame the person who bought them and placed them in one tank, but these were spread out over numerous tanks. So you cannot blame all the tanks for them going south.
I still have some skin left on my plugs, and will take a pic later when all my lights are on.
We ordered twelve frags right? So how many actually have opened?

Of the ones I have only the valentines, mohawks, and greenish dalmations are open. The black widows are closed but look ok. The Jackals and Armageddons are gone.

Here are mine:

I wouldn't mine splitting shipping again on replacements, but the replacements had better be more than nubs.

so 4 out of 12 gone for sure? For as big an order as we put in. I would strongly suggest that he ship out at his expense replacements for zoas that didn't open. If he doesn't austin I hope you paid with a ccd and file a dispute with them.

I would say if he can't guarantee better frags on replacement we get our money back on the ones lost and buy elsewhere. We may not get as many but we should get some that will last.

Hey Austin it is not your fault. I just hope that John comes through on his end and replaces what is lost. I am pretty sure it wasn't anything we did as I have 4 of the 6 I got doing ok and the rest were placed in other tanks so it can't be tied to someones carelessness or bad conditions in the tank.

i kow its not any of our faults, i still feel really bad though. Hopefully we have beetter luck this week. But if we do re order, i think i am going to have him frag them, wait for them to heal, and require confirmation/pictures that they have oepned after healing. And if whether we get money back or replacements, hopefully we dont have any more problems. I am going to keep in contact with him though.

everyone send them to asmith1920@yahoo.com, not on here, its easier to work with them on my normal e-mail account. But yes, if their not open yet, send pics there. And if the are dead send a couple pics. They need to be decent peics though, i dont think a blur will argue our case.
