Zoas are real hardy, saying they are rare is a way to get more money for them. They are not any harder to grow, some just grow slower than others.
Mine look bad and they were only nubs when I got them. Looks to me like they were fragged bad. Like they tried to peel away as less as possible when they were fragged.
The company should have them fragged and healed up properly before selling them. If you just freshly frag them the way they do, it will always be a hit and miss on our end.
Maybe he shouldn't try and sell them by the head and get two to three or more heads per sale for a safety net.
Zoas grow like weeds in my tank and always have. So these should be no difference. I jumped right in on this last minute because of a bailout. I should have researched this guy and his rep first, which is what I always do.
If a lot of them go south on us, then I feel he should replace them with some good frags. You could possibly blame the person who bought them and placed them in one tank, but these were spread out over numerous tanks. So you cannot blame all the tanks for them going south.
I still have some skin left on my plugs, and will take a pic later when all my lights are on.
We ordered twelve frags right? So how many actually have opened?
