That's awesome that you all can fit working out into your lifestyle. Making time and keeping motivated is a constant struggle for me.
Flowers I was not trying to make fun of people who are not regulars. If it came across that way I apologize. The truth is that I give everyone at the gym credit, especially older people who have more difficulty. My only point in mentioning that they are clearly not regulars is that those people, based on their physique, appear to be motivated on the short term but have likely not incorporated working out into their life.
This is similar to me... working out is always on my list...
Okay, I guess I am sensitive, and self conscience. Once when I was at work I had to run the store, I had a bandanna on my head and some teens made a rude comment about Aunt Jamimma.
I turned around and looked at them. They buried their heads laughing. That really hurt my feelings, I would never go to a public place to work out.
I have friends who echo the same sentiment. Being self conscience is why many teens won’t take a shower in school and either cut the class or make excuses not to attend.
It really is a big problem. Self esteem is the underlying reason for obesity in America.
I was never made fun of in school; I didn't gain weight until I started having children. The incident at the store is as close as I ever came to such cruelty. However I watched what it did to other kids.
In the end.. Allot of people who need the gyms the most, don't go.
