That must be why fox watchers and every major new channel besides them have dumber viewers than the Daily Show does, for how much "news" Americans watch why are over 50% completely uninformed?

Because between FoX and CNN roughly only 3 million people tune, you add in each other news agency and the total that watch political nes might reach 15 million. There are 265 million people in this country...do the math.

All and all, Fox news is the best 24hr news network out there
I used to enjoy the Good Morning America message board, but even that gets way too politcal. Now hand me some Tylenol!!

LOL, Yeah, we aren't sophisticated enough to get our news from the elite sources like The View and Oprah Winefart.

I consider myself pretty conservative (not a republican) but I get a bit tired of Foxnews. Like CNN, so many of their stories seem like soap operas.
God rest her soul but why was it that we needed 24 hour coverage of Anna Nicole Smith? Or Natalie Holloway??? Enough already! This isn't news.
Unfortunately, Fox is the closest thing to a conservative broadcast on tv. CNN does have a couple of good programs like Glen Beck and Lou Dobbs though.

Umm, did you even try looking it up, I read it weeks ago and a two second search brought up the story from about a million sources. It's called Google people.

i rarely watch the news life is depressing enough without it ! as far as fox news i don't watch them, because of all the footage they could have repeatedly shown after 9/11 it was the people jumping/falling from the towers and i thought it was tacky ,so i prefer not to watch them anymore .but thats a personal preference.

I don't think one group is dumber than the other. There is also a statistic out there that says that 87% percent of the people who watch the daily show are intoxicated. If you look hard enough, there is always some type of evidence to back up what you believe.
In general, I think both conservatives and liberals just want what they feel is best for the Country. We just have different ways of going about it. I just think the Conservative way makes more sense.

I think if more News shows would actually be much less biased, our country would not be so divided. In our quest for freedom for all, and that's not saying it is bad, but we have pitted ourselves against one another without much chance for finding a middle ground. Democrats are just way too liberal for me and Republicans are a bit too stubborn. What's left in the middle?

Yet you stil;l refused to post a link to the supposed source. Interesting. You ran the search and found millions of links. I ran the search and pulled up opinion pieces by bloggers. Hmmmm...not exactly scientific data...How about posting your story link.

I agree with this. News should not be biased.

Thank you rabbit! Couldn't have said it better myself. Democrats are too liberal but at least they give a rip about the earth and nature, that includes our friends from the sea! Republicans are just too critical and can't say anything positive except about other Republicans to save their life!

You can't be serious. You're saying the Republicans are more negative than the Democrats?

Holy crow, Mike22,
I would never actually side with a democrat. I think ALL politicians are out for themselves and not us, the people of this great nation!!! I am a Republican, just wish sometimes many Republicans weren't so darn stubborn. And as a Republican, I still care about the enviroment. That's huge for me. If it wasn't I wouldn't care less about our oceans and planet. I am conservative by nature and make no apologies about that. But also not saying I hate Democrats. I'd like to find a MIDDLE ground. If there is one, the media doesn't talk about it.

There is no middle ground! That may be the problem with America, but who's going to fix it? I haven't seen any republicans putting forth effort to prevent global warming. And all the Republicans I've talked to say, Clinton was a terrible president, global warming isn't real, Rock and Roll is a Communist plot, Democrats are Athesists. I go to a Republican school, where there is not one Democrat or Indepent teacher, and I don't hear about an amazing thing that happened in the world. Most of it is critism about democrats, athesists, and the world. It's realy annoying and so I, unfortunately was forced to side with the democrats because I get sick and tired of it.

Well I was looking around the Aquairum thread and then it hit me, you guys do have a reason to say that(What's wrong with america, etc.) But no offense shark boy or however made that thread, they are a kid and don't know as much as someone who has been around longer. I'm a kid too, but I guess I see the democrats trying to stop global warming and help our troops in Iraq.
