understandable, and honorable :)
i just didn't know if the dog had passed on and it was a memorial, or something like that. the statement as written was a little odd without an explaination is all i'm agreeing to.

he means alot to me that is why I got it. My statement meant that atleast I am getting something that is meaningful to me instead of getting a tattoo of something that I just think is cool like most kids do for their first tattoo.

is it inaccurate?
1. to damage or spoil to a certain extent; render less perfect, attractive, useful, etc.; impair or spoil: That billboard mars the view. The holiday was marred by bad weather.
2. to disfigure, deface, or scar: The scratch marred the table.

Yes it is, in my opinion, certain tattoos do not deface or make less attractive, in fact if done well they actually cn enhance beauty. There is no scarring either. The skin is only temporarily damaged but heals up nicely, and definitely is not spoiled...lol

Hey if you like that is all that matters. I just think it is silly. Like I said I don't have a tattoo of my fish names either.
my dogs initials and the names of your fish are pretty different. but I do like it so thank you so much for your great input.

BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Salt, congrats on the tattoo. You seem to be really happy with it, which is the most important thing. Body art is very personal and, as you can see, what you find meaningful or attractive may not be for others looking. By posting it on here you opened yourself up to criticism.
Enjoy it and show that bad boy off!!!
(Preferably at the gym...
)
I can't be completely nice... it would ruin my rep around here...

funny thing about a tatoo, when they are first putting it on itreally only burns a little and you dont mind because of the thrill of it.
but when healing and the scabs come off and it needs some touch up since the thrill is gone it hurts like hell.
i bodybuild so i got an american eagle flexing his bicep and his bicep has an american tatoo flag on it.
took me a long time to find an american eagle tat i liked.
seems once you get one most people get a second pretty fast.i stopped at two.

Nope, definitely not fat. But for that thing to look really good... it should be wrapped around a well defined, muscular arm. Women are going to notice that tat, and take a good look... of course as they look, they take notice of the entire package.
In short, HIT THE GYM, SLIM!!!
