Everything looks great!
Is the new clown an ocellaris or a percula?
I love my clowns.
Are those peppermint shrimp? I had one for over six months, but in think it died, I haven't seen it lately. I think I'll replace it with a couple cleaners.
Good luck!

thanks! It's a percula. That is what is was labeled at the store. My first one was that bright when I got her, but she has darkened up. I love them as well. I almost bought a b&w clown but they were $46.99
They are peppermints, they are too funny. I want a cleaner one day also.

It is a nice looking fish.
I'd get two cleaners, and a third peppermint.
That's my plan, three peppermints and two cleaners.
Lots if fun shrimp!

Here is a FTS, it's a little cloudy d/t me dosing with purple up. I am going to try this stuff. I used enough for 50 gallons, I didn't want to use too much.

my poor tank looks so barren, can't wait till my bday when I get to buy some base rock

I actually like the separate "islands" look, that's the setup i have in my tank. You just need more rock on top.
Looks great though!
What are you planning on putting in, livestock wise?

Are you going to put a background on it? What about sand?
I would be patient and wait for the coraline....be careful with the purple up stuff

I know, I just couldn't help myself. I only plan on using it biweekly, not daily like it says. I couldn't decide on blue or black, so I am going to buy one of those god awful backgrounds with both. And the sand I want is kinda pricey so I am making the hubby buy it next weekend. hehe

Thanks, I am getting more rock for my bday so I can build up the left side.
As far as livestock goes: flame angel, diamond goby (once I get sand lol), longnose hawk, Yellow Fin Fairy Wrasse, 2 Blue Gudgeon Dartfish , and a mandarin once my tank is ready for one. Ask me in a week and I am sure it will change. lol

lol, I know what you mean. This morning I wasn't even considering a LMB, now I think I'm getting one.
Speaking of LMBs, do you think yours will get along with a diamond goby? They're kinda similar in color and the region the inhabit.

Nice be easy on the purple up. Water changes will do it. Like I said before I have a tub with about 50 lbs of live rock from marco rock. its yours if you want it I am tired of looking at a tub in my dining room of rock. Tank looks good so far. Hell I have a few rocks to get out of my tank that is covered in coralline. Yours for free to just to meet someone on here. Like this site better than most I am on. Hell let me know I will grill some steaks with you and your hubby let you all meet me and my wife. Might be cool to talk fish tank stuff with another member on here. Good luck the tank looks good so far. Hope you keep it up.

Honestly drop the Purple Up....you don't need it...as stated above water changes will do.....Honestly test before you add anything to the system.
