Here is my new clown, he is too fast to get a good picture and so small. He is less than an inch. and also excuse the bubbles, my skimmer went on the fritz tonight. stupid thing...

Supposedly these 2 clowns are the same...but they don't look the same to me. Maybe he will darken up like her.

Is that the same new clown as the older pics?
If not, what happened to the first one?
The big one is the same that I have had since the beginning. The small one I have had since Friday or Saturday. I don't remember when I got him. I posted a picture of him before these are just new pictures.

Okay, the way you wrote the post it sounded like this was the third one.
To answer your fake peppermint question, sometimes Camel Shrimp as sold as peppermint shrimp. However, unlike the peaceful and beneficial peppermint shrimp, camel shrimp are nasty little critters that will eat corals. But it appears you have the good ones. No hump, and a pointed mouth.
Also, it doesn't sound like you are quarantining, and you really should be. I learned the hard way. I didn't quarantine my clowns, and they got a parasite. Luckily, they were the first fish in the tank, and all I had to do was set up a QT and move them over. Everytime you add an unquarantined item to your tank, you risk the whole system. I like to think of the QT as a kind of insurance. JMHO, as well as the opinion of many others.

Hmm I didn't know that about the shrimp. And I know I should be QT'ing. I have a 10 gallon with a hood and HOB filter (actually my dog chewed that filter up) that I plan on using. I have planned to QT all fish from here on out. I won't be getting anything new for a while so, I have time to set it up.
Now I have heard a few ways to set one up. I thougt I would try putting a filter pad in the sump for a while (which has been in there for a long time) and then when I am ready to QT I put it in the QT tank. Right? Or not quite?

That sounds right. I normally set up the tank a week before I plan on getting sometime, and let the salinity and temp balance out. I leave the filter pad from my HOB filter in my sump, so bacteria can grow, and tansfer the pad to the QT a day or two before I get the fish (or invert). This way bacteria is already present, and cycling is not necessary.
I'm actually doing this right now, as I plan on getting a LMB on Friday. I'm excited.
