So cute!!
Thanks, jamiegrl!~
She's not messing with the elegance too much today; think she got stung really bad from all the wallowing around she did yesterday. She's got a pink sting mark on her side today. She never learns...

It is the one when you first got your picassos and they are in the container, I just changed the color so they are different.

WOW that is awesome!!! I wish my crazy clowns would host something!!!
Well, I'm thinking that my clown is wishing that she never tried to host the elegance now.
She has a pink "sting" mark on her side again and has stayed away from the elegance today.

The lights are out now, or you KNOW that there would be a pic attached to this post.
As mentioned in some comments above, I'm thinking that my clown is wishing now that she never tried to host the elegance. Today, she has a pink "sting" mark on the same side that she usually gets them on. (wonder why she always gets them on that same side?
) ETA: I'm assuming that the "sting" is from the elegance because it's the most likely thing to sting the clown and packs quite a powerful sting.
Anyway, I'm a little worried about the way she's acting tonight. She's staying by the brain all day and sometimes, she will lean against the glass and will lay motionless; I'll start to worry thinking that she died or something and then she will get up and wiggle around and swim around again. She ate fine and always swims when she sees me approach the tank.
Her breathing is a little heavy, but otherwise, she seems
fine. The male is staying by her side everywhere she goes and when she does her little thing where she lays motionless, the male will nibble on her fin and nudge her to get her to move. Then she will get up and swim around normally. Sometimes it takes the male a little more effort to get her going. But everytime I come up to the tank, especially when I open the lid, she gets excited and swims up to the top.
I'm hoping that maybe she's recovering from a bad sting and is still just a little "stunned".
The other clown is totally fine. Never had a problem since day one.
Gonna keep my eye on her and see what happens....

Lights are out and I tried to take a pic of the clowns side to show her sting, but it wouldn't show up on actinics and with flash, the side just looked white..
soooo... while I had the camera out...

NORMAL BEHAVIOR tonight:
Being "protective" when a crab would come close:

ABNORMAL
BEHAVIOR tonight:
She's started to suckle on the brain coral.

So hey, dont you have a bicolor blenny ? What do they eat ? LFS told me algae but i have barely seen it picking at algae so far. Well your tank looks awesome and the pics of the clowns are just wonderful. Keep em comin. I know you take like 100 a day.

I DO take a lot of pics, don't I??
But you know, I ALWAYS have my camera on me "just in case" there is something that comes up that I have to take a picture of. My dream pic would be one of a tornado.
I know, weird, but I'd love to capture one with my camera.
Yep, I have a bicolor blenny in my 29 and he eats anything that I put in there; mysis, brine, marine cuisine, even pellets. All during the day, he will swim around and pick at the algae on the glass, rocks and even on snail and hermit shells. He'll leave his "lip prints" on the glass for me.
Just try feeding it whatever you feed the rest of your fish. Mine was shy for the first couple of days; now, he's the most voracious eater, after my clowns, of course.

You are making me want picasso's more and more!!!!
lol
Ok, now to hijack your thread! (sorry)
I might get one next week, and pair it with a regular one because I don't have the money for two.
Maby just have one???

I am looking into it.
First I need to decide what tank to put it in. I have a five gallon one I really like, but think it might be to small.?
It also needs a new heater, and maby a new light.
What do you think?

Reginaaaaa!

DEFINATELY get a Picasso! You must!

If you pair it with something else, just make sure that it's a percula and they should be fine.
What you can do when (notice I said WHEN, and not IF
) you order your Picasso from here is make a note to the shipping department in the orders "Comments" section requesting what kind of Picasso you would like to have; ie: one with the most white on it, one with connecting middle and tail bars, etc. and they will do their best to accomodate you.
Do you have a tank ready besides the 5 gallon one? I put one of my Picasso's in a 6 gallon Eclipse tank for a week when I had to treat it with Maracyn II and it did well in there by itself, but seemed "bored" because there wasn't really anything to "entertain" her or for her to be curious about.
Trust me, when you get your Picasso, you will want it to be in it's own little "showcase". I would say if you had something like a 14g like I have, or even a 12g, it would be perfect!

Sooooo..... you're getting one next week, right??

Well, if I need a bigger tank, then it will be even longer before I can get one! I don't like this hobby when your young and have no money.

I am looking into getting a nano, but they are sooo expensive! I should have kept my bigger tank..

I might end up buying a nano and after a while get a picasso. I hate that I have to keep putting it off!

One day though, I will have one!(or two!)
I guess I will have to make a plan.

What size tank do you have now and what do you have in it? Do you just have the 5 gallon? Maybe check your local craigslist or here on the boards to see if someone is selling a nano for a reasonable price?
I know it's hard to wait.... but it'll be worth it and I can't wait to see your Picasso(s)

I was so happy to see that the 2 duncans that I bought a couple of weeks ago have already sprouted another head and several babies!~

It's hard to get a good pic of the extra head and babies because they mostly stay hidden unless the flow moves the tentacles out of the way, but you can kinda see them in the pics below:

My 2 original heads

I bought a baby fox coral the other day

and.... updated FTS
