fire fish it out of the question then because i want a

[hr]
top tank.

I just want a active colourful tank, dont want fish that like to hide alot.
I was also thinkinbg of grabbing more LR to make a wall kind of thing at the back of my tank, plus itll give me more room to place corals on but I dont know
, itll throw off my cycle also.

yeah it may...unless you get fully cured...and what I would do is make a small container of sw...and put the lr in there for a couple of days with a powerhead...just to be sure that there is no die off that would give you a spike
I did that with my new rock..ammonia in the tub went to 4!! BUT I also think that is why I had a very short and small cycle
You are really limited with a 10g for fish though...so you really might want to look into the gobies...I don't think you can mix them though...so either 2 yellow, 2 green or 2 citron...Like I said I'd get the citron if I could

LOL...Black and white false perculas are the ones I am going to get from this site.
I think the blue leg hermits are the snail eaters....
IDK about the starfish...first you needthe tank to be established, then I have to wonder if a 10g would have enough of what a starfish needs to survive...might want to look into that a little further

yeah the blues only go after snails if they want to host there shells, but to combat that I'm going to buy a bunch of different sized shells and scatter them around the tank.
And yeah I know the stars need an established tank not sure if i want one yet because the only ones i think i can get are the black brittles and i personally think theres ugly haha

There was a person on one of the other sites I frequent that had a pair of green banded gobies in her 5.5 gallon. The were wonderful fish and they were a pair that had babies quite often. She would take pictures of the little ones at the top of the water looking for food. She never did raise them, she was the kind of person that if it was in her tank she left it alone no matter what it was and whatever had to fend for itself.
Green Banded Goby (Gobiosoma multifasciatum)

Thats the type of person I am haha natural selection:p
those are pretty cool to there like humming birds but of the ocean haha
But can you keep 2 of them plus a pair of clowns in a 10g?

I would not suggest keeping 2 clownfish in a 10 gallon anyway. You may get away with 2 Amphiprion percula as they stay the smallest but they will still be a challange to keep the tank clean. So I would say you are pushing the limit with the clowns.

Well I have a the XP1 filter and its for tanks up to 45g I think so thats 4 times the size of mine? Thats still not enough filtration? Amphiprion percula are those false percs? or are they a different type of clown? I saw small clowns that looked like that at big als but im not sure if there the same thing'd because they just called them clowns and they were cheap also only 19.99CAN
