yeah I know but hey its my first SW tank I have no idea what I'm doing and scared the tank will crash on me

Untill I get more comfy with SW then I wont be asking ne more questions rather than posting beautiful pics=)

Hopefully!
And the cichlid tank I wanted the more realistic look, but its still of because of the lava rock but its all good haha I have like 9 of them i believe and there all about 3 inch maybe
They seem to be doing fine no loses in like 5 months. Just a pain in the ass to maintain because of the bio-load

You are doing just fine with your sw setup...don't worry about asking questions either...Just look up some NANO fish...make a list of which ones you like best....then go over them again and pick out a couple

Yeah I suppose haha.
I think im going to pick up some more LR 2morro so I have more room to place corals (and if not cured keep them in a bucket like you said)

Don't forget that you will need a powerhead....and a heater....you don't want the rock to get cold....

I agree with Ms. Kitty, ultimately your choices. However since you have asked I will throw out my suggestions.
Here is your equipment list.
Hardware includes:
18" refug
10g tank
20" Orbit 2*40W SunPaq PC Fixture w/Lunar Light and Fan
renstar XP1
a 50watt heater
Koralia Nano Reef Pump
For coral I would go with Zoanthids, Ricordea both Yuma and Florida, a couple of photosynthetis gorgonians, Discosoma mushrooms, and maybe some Green Star Polyps.
Clean up crew 4 nassarius, 6 Cerith, 1 fighting conch, 2 red legged reef hermits, one pom pom crab, 3 sexy shrimp.
For fish a pair of green banded gobies and a yellow assessor.
I think you have a good basic understanding of what aquarium keeping is all about. You really need to get a couple of reference books on how to be sucessful with marine aquariums. I would suggest
The nano reef handbook by Chris Brightwell.
I really hope a couple of others will jump in an build a small tank for you too so you have a group of ideas to pull from.

Please go and do some research on the critters, especially the inverts and fish, to see what it takes to care for them. Again just thinking about what I would do with a 10 gallon that would be easier to keep and have some interesting critters and some nice color. I would also add som Halimeda algae in there for some taller balance along with the gorgs to give the tank some height.
Most of all have fun, no stress here this is supposed to be and enjoyable, claming hobby.

I have heard you talk of Big Als before I think. You would be suprised what they can get if you can ask them about some specific things.

Do you ever read other threads? I ask this because I read A LOT...just to learn from them....a lot of things that have crept up on me I had previously read about so when it happened I didn't freak out..LOL...IDK a lot about skimmers, and I really don't know anything about either of those..
The 2nd looks more like a filter too...
the first is for aquariums up to 30g....they say buy a skimmer rated much bigger....
