Looks pretty sad. Of course I don't know how it looked before it you are asking do I think it is coming back. I have nothing to compare it's previous state to.

Thats true. But there are pics of it when it first started going downhill somewhere in the thread lol. To lazzy to go look for them.

Me too. If you think that the flesh and tentacles on that picture are more than the pictures of it going downhill, then I would say yes it is coming around. Biggest concern here will be if any algae forms on the exposed skeleton.

You could but if there isn't really any growing, just a small amount, I would leave it be and just make sure there is water flowing over it to try to keep the skeleton clean. Not blasting over it.
Hmm...........doesn't look much different to me.

Thats when it was growing back also lol.
Theres just more flesh now, that you cant really see in the pic, because the plate isnt propped up.

WOW! Lots of nice stuff going on in that tank since the last pics I saw. Congrats and great job. Tank is looking really colorful!

I'm not going back any further to look at the befores of the ltp either. but right now it looks the same to me (working from memory). the good news is that it is still alive! right? the rest of the tank looks great! your favia seems to look much better than it was! congrats!

I just finished fragging my hairy mushrooms. I fragged two of them (the larger two) I cut them both into 4's, so now I have 8 hairy shroom frags.
This is what I did.
Got a large bowl put fresh SW in it
Put the shroom rock into the bowl
Cut the two shrooms off the rock leaving a little meat on the rock so they can grow back hopefully.
Washed a plastic container, and put some washed/dried crushed coral from my FW tank to cover the bottom.
Cut the mushrooms into 4's trying to get a piece of the mouth in every new piece.
Put them into the container put a piece of panty hose on the top, secured it with an elastic.
Put the container back into my tank.
