This guy msged me and wanted to buy a frag of it, thats what pushed me to start chopping! lol
How much should I charge for each shroom?
He also wanted some cheato, and since my refugium is full I could take a handfull out and give it to him.

I had some red mushrooms.....I put a piece in a container with LR Rubble.....they disappeared....yes I had a net on top.....
Although.....I kinda think I may have aided on their death, I was told about a week...after a week, it still was not attached, so I put it back in.....after another week, it looked like it was attached and I...lol....decided to test it...welll if I had left it alone for a few more days IT MAY have been ok...let's just say I kinda detached it, and then it melted :(
SO lesson learned.....BE PATIENT

lol...this was a whole mushroom cut at the base...not cut in pieces...I was told a week for it to attach...lol next time I will leave it longer though

Day 2, shrooms still looking good.
Seems like the "hair" is growing back on the "meat" I left behind on the rock. But I'm not sure how the shrooms regenerate.

GSP is attaching to filter intake already! Woot woot! hopefully itll go up the tube then eventually make its way on the glass.

OH...so what happens when it gets plugged uo and doesn't take in any more water

Simple.. I cut the matt of GSP take the filter out and clean it! lol
No big deal.. I havent cleaned any of the equipemnt yet and everything works perfectly still.

2 weeks ago my protein skimmer in the 225G was acting funny...
I took the pump out.....took it apart...and cleaned it....It is back to 100% again
BE CAREFUL.....EVERY part needs to be cleaned eventually

Yeah I know. But a filter tube?" I doubt its going to be clogging any time soon.
Its like a inch thick tube, with onstant flow getting sucked up into it, so i must imagine that it would be a while untill it clogs up that much.

That's what I thought about my overflow tubes.....they are clear so I can see the growth of algae in them.....
It happens quicker than you think
just always be conscious of your flow
