Nope the gorg is making a comeback!!!!! This morning when I woke up, pretty much all the polops are opened!!!!
%h. Only one branch has some scattered, but the other branches are covered in the white polops.
Its so hard to get a pic of the blenny, it always hides when someone is near the tank. Its home is in a hole behinde the favia, and he comes out to help clean the favia from algae.

LOL thanks for the concerns and comments guys.
The red gorg. was fully open today, so I guess it was just being a coral and hiding for a while.

With some gifts from you, it'll be a lot better haha

My tank will never look like yours! you have better lights, more room, and more of a selection where you live!
But thanks! Did you find out the shipping cost?

So I've been checking out the pics of your tank... I love it.. Seriously, it's great. How easy is that red gorg you've got?
Thanks! The gorg. is somewhat easy for me. It stoped extending for about 4 days but its back to normal now. A lot of people said they had a short life span in the at home aquarium, so dont know what to tell you haha.

Is there such a thing as red bubble algae?
I have some growing in my refugium. It looks like the branched green bubble algae but its red. Should I be worried of a possible spread, even though its in my refugium?
I think it might be this Botryocladia skottsbergii but its more branched and floating in my cheato, rather than stuck on a rock.

Also what salt do you use? I use IO reef crystals, and I always find a yellow residue at the bottom of the bucket wehn I make SW. What is it, Trace elements?

I use the regular Instant Ocean....I have since day 1...I have never seen any residue in any of the buckets I have purchased...and i have been thru quite a few..LOL

not inside the undissolved salt. When you dissolve the salt do you see yellow residue?
If not I guess it is the extra added trace elements that the IO claim to have added in the reef crystal formula.
