The braincoral isnt doing good today

All the other corals are open fully and doing great but the brain looks to by dying :S

Not at all! I saw one of my largest hermits walking away from it, so I'm wondering if the hermit walked ontop of it to make it shrivle that much. Do you think I should wait untill tomorrow to see if it gets better then go return it?

They said its trade in's.. and its usualyl 30% of what the cost was.. but I'll fight with the guy since I just got it yesturday and today its already dead..
I honestly dont know what the skelleton looks like.. It looks really badly shrivled.. like you can see the skelleton figure but the meat is on it also.. is the skelleton supposed to be white?

YES, the skeleton should be white....I asked cause it is hard to tell in the pic..

YES, the skeleton should be white....I asked cause it is hard to tell in the pic..

Well around the edges the skelleton is exposed I guess. But I think that might be due to the fact its so shrivled..

I wish I could say thats what they look like after a hermits' been jumping on one but that would be a lie. I've seen my brain severely shriveled up before but never once has it looked like that, how long did you acclimate for?

I just temp acclimated it.. I float the bag for 2 hours.. then dumped it in.. I do that to all my corals.. It was fine the whole day yesturday.. and then today when i got home I found it like this..

I just temp acclimated it.. I float the bag for 2 hours.. then dumped it in.. I do that to all my corals.. It was fine the whole day yesturday.. and then today when i got home I found it like this..

I don't know if temp acclimation is the best way to do it, add a little bit of tank water to the bag every 20-30 mins, thats how I usually do it. But if it was alright yesterday I'm not sure whats happening, is there anything near it that could be stinging it or using chemical warfare? And have you done any tank maintenance while the brain was in the tank?

No chemical warfare,, it was i nthe middle of my tank..
I went and fought with them for acouple hours, because they said they'd only give me %30 back.. then I got them to %50... then they finally settled at %80.. they said it was deffinatly dying.
Their arguments were how do we know you didnt kill it,, then I showed them pictures of my tank.. and asked does this look like I dont know what I'm doing lol. then they said how do we know your water parameters are good.. told them id wait while they tested the water i nthe bag.. lol then they said well ours are up to par and im like whats par to you? Iwant to see test results and not the dip sticks you guys use.. They said they couldnt do that becvause it was busy and they didnt have the time and I started talking louder and asked them if this was how they treat long term customers.. meanwhile the customers buys stuff were now listening in.. then the guy said hold on.. went to talk to another guy came back and said the highest they would go for me was %80.. So I said thanks and I wont be comming back.
