You're lucky you got anything....LOL...most places do not give credits once out the door for all the reasons they mentioned...they have no clue what you did with it after you left the store
so did you get anything else??

Nah all their corals looked like sh*t.. Thats another point I proved to them... I saw acouple of corals in their tanks dying (showing most of the skelleton and all) and I was like your blaming my tank when you guys have dying corals listen for full price? (also while customers were listeneing in lol..) I believe I saw a customer put back one of the bags of fish she was buying haha, I dont know if it was because of my conversation with the employee.
Either way.. they know who I am and ive tlaked to these people many time.. even teaching some of their employees about some corals.. so they know I have good matinence skills.. I think it would have been in their best interests to give me 100% refund because they know I always come in and blow $60 a week sometimes more..
They didnt even offer to give me a replacement and they admitted to it being dead..
Plus now they dont have my $60 comming in every week.. and I'll be telling friends that I know who go their not to buy their corals from them =).. theres another LFS a little further away but close to my G.FS house.. I heard good things about them so I'll be checking them out when I have time.

yes looks bad. did u hv the koralia pointing right at it? bc from the pic, it looks that way. brains dont like much flow at all. to see a brain deteriorate that quick is uncommon.

it looks like it in the pic.. but the powerhead is acctually pointed towards the LR.. plus I checked ho much flow it was getting by putting my hand infront and their was no force.. the nano pumps dont put out that much,.

Good for you man!! If I were you and they didn't give me anything I would spill the bag on the ground haha. Oh man that'd be fun. Yeah it didn't make much sense that it was deteriorating so fast.

Maybe my tank cant house brain corals.. My first coral was a red and green Favia.. which is just a skelleton now.. died pretty fast also.. now the open brain died extremely fast.. so I guess I wont be trying anymore brain corals haha

Last time I checked they were at normal levels..
The corals are looking amazing so I havent had a need to check parameters.. plus the coco worm is out and about so it means all is good lol.

But I doubt itll kill the brain that quickly.. My theory is that the brain already had something going on.. and the stress of the move did the final blow?

Sometimes things do not acclimate well either
Look at the brain I got last week.....it died in 24 hours
OK...that was due to the cold....but still

+1
I really think acclimation is important and it can be pretty easy to mess up. Best thing to do is drip everything you get. Hermits imo are the only things that should be temp acclimated.
