Alrighty, I was thinking also if i should start with the cuc or just fish b.c what if there isnt enought "things" growing in my tank for the cuc to feed on they'll just die off, no?

You always start with cuc....get a few different types of snail....maybe 3 cerith, 3 nassarius....see how they do

Bad news kitty...
ammonia is back between 0 and 0.25=( it was the water change that made it zero more waiting=(
all other levels are the same though.

LOL...I paid $1200 for one set of lights

...I have TWO folders with receipts...I refuse to add them up

Damn, haha 1200 on lights they better be made of gold!
But 1200 for a 10g tank I think thats pricey, but then again I find myself sitting here infront of the tank looking at it even without anything in it!! ahah
I really like the lights, they make some of the stuff in m tank glow and make the sand look really white. Good choice kitty! Now hopefully the ammonia will go down

You think it could be my filter, maybe there is a build up of soemthing its been running a month so far

XP1 it has 2 foam things and one pouch of activated carbon.. never cleaned it yet.

I was thinking of doing it but wont it kill most of my bacteria colony in the filter if i wash them out?

I really don't know your filter, and I'm getting ready for work....LOL...I'll look it up later....BUT you can change the carbon, and clean one foam pad.....I have a filter that uses 2 foam cartrideges (on the 29g) and I change one side...then the other side...like 2weeks apart
