Spaghetti worm or vermetid snail. If you know what those are, and what you have is not that then I would think some type of sponge. Maybe like this?

Or this

Thanks Spanko...LOL...I was too pre-occupied with BIGUN to even look

It looks like the 2nd sponge pic but its not as much yet if thats what it is. if it is a sponge then does that mean I cant place corals on that rock, I dont think sponges are harmful but I was just wondering if I'd have to get rid of it if I wanted corals there instead of that IMO ugly sponge.

Agree here. Just keep an eye on it, it is there because there are available nutrients in the tank right now. As you get a handle on you husbandry and water quality, and the tank matures more, it will probably die off anyway.
Poor pup.

I can't remember what other test kit you had...BUT I would be willing to bet the API one is better and more reliable....
Just test another day or two...and then BUY SOMETHING

I have the api test kit for ph, ammonia, trites and trates...no problems with it.....I bought a nutrafin calcium test (SUCKED)...red sea calcium test...apparently inaccurate....so I will either buy salifert or api for now on.
ANYWAY...I'm going to bed...talk to you tomorrow....bet you have zero readings again too

so the test went good 0 ammonia according to API so im hgoing to the gym then going to big als to get some LIVESTOCK!! How long should I acclimate the snails 1+ hours and the shrimp 1+?? Should I acclimate them seperate or is it okay to do them all in the same bucket. I also have some SW getting made so I can refill my tank once the acclimation is done.

I acclimate them in the bags...make sure they bag the snails seperate from the shrimp (good places bag everything seperate)
Just place the bags in the tank for about 1/2 an hour to get them usde to your temp....then take maybe 1/4 of the bag water out and put 1/4 of tank water in....for maybe 20 minutes..repeat...1-2 more times....OHHH and then discard all water from bag and only put snails and shrimp in tnak
Be a little more careful with the shrimp...I find them to be "touchy"
