LOL...After you add anything new, it is a good idea to check your ammonia and trites maybe the 1st 2 days, and then every other day for a week.

I would be very surprised to see any ammonia spike on this tank, unless of course you are overfeeding your Chromis.

No I feed it a pinch of mysis and a pinch of brin and I put it into the tank slowly so once it finishes the first bit of food I put in a little more.
Why dont you think there will be an ammonia spike? the hermits crap tons but there doing an amazing job on my rocks there looking white again.

Don't get me wrong, the ammonia will spike until the biofilter catches up, but it may be so small and so fast you cannot even see it when testing.
+1 with Ms. Kitty, the biofiltering capability will rise with the additions if done slowly. That is until you have more bioload than the system can handle. You are a ways off from this though.

Yeah I wont be adding anything else untill sat or sunday maybe, and I'll be adding some more snails to clean up my sand bed and the algae.
I have some sort of hair algae growing on my glass, fist it was a white spot on the glass then it started to grow little pieces of hair algae(dont know if thats what its called)
