So I went to the LFS and they only had margarita turbo snails so I got 3 small ones and the LFS dude told me not to waist my money on a cleanershrimp since there 20$ and buy a green cromis which was 8.99 and he said I could come back later and exchange it when I buy the black and white false percs. plus I dont have alot of places it can hide in the tank so itll be easy to catch later. So thats all I bought and there acclimating now only spent 20$

Im waiting for my g.f to get here with her cam but Ill try to take some crappy cell cam pics when I get it in the tank.

so Oscar(my green cromis) finally comes out from under the pump but hes not surte about going to far away from it its funny. I fed it some brine shrimp and im going to test the water today, and maybe buy some hermits.

So I went out and bought 3 holloween hermits, 1 red scarlet, and 3 nassarius snails. there acclimating at the moment.

it eats ditritus, uneaten food and many kinds of algae, including red slime algae (cyanobacteria), and sifts the sand, as well

hMMM...I knew they ate something different...just couldn;t remember what, and I'm too tired to look it up

The idiot at the LFS tried to sell me a sand sifting star and cucumber even after I told him its a 10g newly set up reef.

LOL..After making a few mistakes on livestock...I research here and other places before I buy anything now

yeah thank god Ive been reading up on things. Or else I would have bought them, spent a whole lot of money just to let the star die and the cucumber to eat my corals.

P.S I bought a 80z package of mysis and some new life spectrum marine formula for the cromis.
I think hes hiding so much because I read there schooling fish so he has no buddies to swim around with=( sad but im not going to buy him one because I'm goignt o give him back to the LFS once I buy my black and white false percs=)

Like Meowzer said, it hard to find someone who you can trust at a lfs. I've been sold a few things that I told people about and they were like, "why the he ll did you put that in your tank" you learn quick though. Black percs are rad, good luck with that!

You know what I have no idea haha, at the time my reasoning was if this fish survives I can buy the more expensive black percs. I think it was just because I waited so long for the tank to cycle I just wanted soemthing swimming around i nthere lol
I just put the new livestock in the hermits are hard at work with the hair algae and the snails went under the sand so start stirring it up.

Good...let me know how the hermits do...When they come into stock at swf I may get a couple for my 29g....I not have cyano
Like I need another freakin problem right now.....ERRRRGGGG I am putting in another PH after I do a w/c later.
