Its like he still doesnt know whats going on, he still looks confused when we leave without him. But as long as hes going to be good as new nothing else matter. I think well be able to take him home by the weekend

Yeah hes been there since friday and my parents have been there every day for 2 hours. There inlove with him its like there little baby boy. They even make him chicken and rice because he doesnt eat much of the hospital food apparently the dog food is just as bad as the human hospital food haha. But the funny thing is when me and my brother came home with him they both said they were giving him to the pound now they worry about the dog more then us haha.
Hes in a cage inbetween a 200lb cat, the biggest cat ive ever seen, and another dog that wont stop crying. I dont know how he can sleep at night lol

On that note Im off to bed got to get up early 2morro water change day for my fish tanks.

Someone has killed my poor scarlet hermit
it was such a cute little guy and now he lays dead on my sand bed torn from his shell cut in half.
The holloween crabs are all still in there normal shells so I dont know who killed him or why they would do such a thing. I knew it was going to happen tho because my snails and hermits were always either ontop of the scarlet or closing in on it. I had to move them away tons of times and I guess my bodygaurd skills have failed me.
On a good note new shippment of SW goodies comming 2morro morning at big als.
I'll be getting:
1 cleanner shrimp
4 cerith snails
4 Nassarius snails
4 Astrea snails
and i need one more idea for a good sand sifter because I want something to eat the hair algae growing in my sand, plus the ditioms(spelling?) on the sand bed.
Also I'm almost out of salt, I currently use Red Sea reef crystals. I sthere any other brand that is better or that I should be using? Or is this salt good enough for my tank?
What else should I put on my shopping list?

I uses Instant Ocean...works for me...
It is spelled diatoms....
As far as a sandsifter...hmmmm....A lot of people talk about diamond gobies....I have a banded bullet goby in my 225.....I have no clue what size minimum tank though
Maybe someone (ahem...like SPANKO ahem) will know

So I just finished doing some filter maitenence, and when I opened the filter box I saw a number of pods swimming around haha.
Theres none in my fuge I dont think but theres like thousands of them in my filter so I took out the media put it in a bucket with some fresh SW and shook and washed off the media of some of the pods then scooped them out with a net and threw them in my fuge. And the water that was in my filter box(with even more pods in it) I did the same thing scooped the little buggers out and threw them in my fuge. Why they multiplying so fast in my filter for and why not in my fuge? Do they like dark places?

they freak me out lol. When I first grabbed one in my hand it moved all over it by spinning I thought it was dead so when it started I threw it across my room lmfao.
Cheatto doesnt need light to survive right? Just to grow bigger?

Photosynthesis[α] is a process that converts carbon dioxide into organic compounds, especially sugars, using the energy from sunlight.[1] Photosynthesis occurs in plants, algae, and many species of bacteria

Yep Henry I know what photosynthesis is lmfao:p I'm taking Biochemistry in university.
6CO2 + 12H2O + sunlight(energy) → C6H12O6 + 6O2 + 6H2O
the balanced chemical equation for photosynthesis
and the reverse way is for cellular resperation, how our cells use sugar to produce energy and CO2.
Just wasnt sure if it was the same with algae or marine plant life. I heard someone saying in a thread that cheatto didnt need light if you didnt want it to grow(but without dieing).
And yes meowzer he is saying that it does need light to make iuts food. Which is the glucose(C6H12O6) in the formula.

I was just wondering if it was a plant form that would go dorment without light, for example tree's in the winter. Its still alive but its not growing.
