Katsafado's first ever 10g SW tank(nano)

lol it was the unknown snail also! The one I think is a little bear conch. It's okay though hes sliding along still.
On another not I've noticed a major coraline algae bloom all over my tank. Some is even starting to grow on the back glass, and my pump. I tested my water and all the parameters are good except the calcium again! It off the charts? I havent added anything into the tank that would raise it so I dont know why its so high. Unless my salt has high calcium content

Big als buckets. I use the bucket to make the salt then wash iut out and dry it, then put it back into the jug of r/o water that it use to be in.
Are astrea snails the ones that fall and cant right themselves?

Astrea snails ARE the snails that MOST of the time can not right themself....

True. Well I'm missing 3 and there is 3 extra shells haha. I'm gussing they tipped and the hermit came and had a snack! lol
On another note
I got a beautiful long tenticle plate coral for only $20!! They had it in a 10g tank with pc lights also and it still looked good! its bluish white tenticles with green tips.

Yeah the guy at the LFS said it works because the 10g tanks arent deep so the light can hit the sand.

w.e it was 20$ I hope it stays alive its really nice and looks like an anemone.

So i lied about the colour haha dont know what I was looking at!
Its purple pink, with white tips and its huge lol take sup the middle front spot on the sand. Will it grow any larger? But then again it doesnt matter since they dont sting.

They also had some nice bubble coral for $60, and some nice orange shrooms, sun corals ect. I cant get the sun coral anymore since there isnt any room in the sand. I think they were fragging there display tank for these corals
