From a site....
The Long Tentacle Plate Coral is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral often referred to as a Heliofungia Plate, Mushroom, or Disk Coral. Its genus name, Heliofungia, was derived from the Latin words helios (sun) and fungus (mushroom), which describes its calcareous skeleton shape. With its long tentacles extended, it takes on the appearance of an anemone.
It is a solitary, aggressive coral, and with its long tentacles can damage other corals that it comes in contact with. With placement in the aquarium, keep in mind that it will often inflate itself with water and expand to twice its size, with sweeper tentacles extending well beyond its base. It will do best on the bottom of a reef aquarium, preferably lying on a fine sandy substrate. The Long Tentacle Plate Coral is easy to maintain in the reef aquarium and makes an excellent candidate for the beginner reef aquarist. It requires moderate lighting combined with moderate water movement within the aquarium. For continued good health, it will also require the addition of calcium, strontium, and other trace elements to the water.

Yeah I'm an idiot I read it wrong! I thought my link said, it looks like an anenome but unlike the anenonme is doesnt have the powerful sting. When it really said it has apowerfull sting like the anenome. haha
And it can move around

Oh well's theres plenty of space between it hopefully! It might grow into my coco worm though.

Neon green candy cane coral are usually (Caulastrea furcata)
LPS (large polyped stoney coral)
The need medium to low flow and medium lighting. To much flow on this coral will blow the tissue off the skeleton. They have short feeder tentacles and can be fed small pcs. of meaty food but don't need it. Placement in a crevice in the rock work. Nice coral, I liked the one I kept for a while and have been thinking of getting another.

haha your going to start saying new page for my thread also! haha
I want to epoxy it to my return pump for the refug lol. I want to try to hide it, but I dont think the candy is a good choice for that.
I`m doubtfull of getting it since my LR is filling up now and I have lots of green in the tank already.

What to do what to do!

If you want to cover your hoses up I would not use candy cane, maybe mushrooms....I saw a pic somewhere where a guy had a tall rock and mushrooms covered it by growing up (kinda vine looking)

I would just take the shroom right off the rock and glue it to the pipe. would that work or does it need to be on rock
good luck taking it off. why dont you frag it and start new. or buy loose shrooms and let it grab on to some sand then glue it to the back of the tank.
i did that with my GSP and Pink star burst (i dont even know thats real) lol

They have red and blue shroom`s that are loose, but they are like $30 just for one. Apparently they are true red`s and blue`s %%
Do candy cane corals sting at all, can they be put next to my FS, zoas, or favia, Just tryingto figure out where I would put it if I were to go 2morro and buy a frag.
