I thjought u had floss in urs? ur the one that suggested me buying it instead of the foam pads hahaha. I heard that the ceramic rings have some probelms associated with them, but I forget what and where I read it.

I just rinse the ceramic rings once in a while ( a long while..lol) and replace them after 6 months (maybe
) I have floss in the fuge/wetdry......I think I may have told you if you were gonna use that stuff just buy floss it's cheaper than the pads
I don't remember...LOL

Me either... what ever haha..
I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to scrap the filter floss since I do tend to overfeed the tank. The filter floss grabs most of the excess food, and without it it'll just keep going back into cycle.

LOL...you won't go back to the cycle...you'll just start having other issues
Like I said I use floss 2x in my wet/dry/fuge.....and I also have 2 foam filters in my overflow.....if all the floss you have is in your filter, then you should use it.....if you can get some in your fuge....look into that

The shrooms are growing large.. worried aboutt he red one.. the purple one is growing over it and covering it completely, so I doubt its getting any light. Any suggestions?
The red gorg. might be a gonner, polops havent extended in a week, doesnt look like its skinnier though
Suncoral pushed up new heads
Xenia has "bumps" on each stock, but none of them have been able to root onto the LR (should I leave them be? or help them?)
Ric's got pretty big
frogspawn is doing great, fastest growing coral in the tank..
GSP is growing nicely.. the whole rock(the one it came on) is almost taken.
Candy cane is regrowing, and becoming puffy again
coco worm and other inverts are good..
zoas are doing good, green ones are shadding out eachother (some are shrinking..)
Fish are healthy and eating.
Pics will come once I remmeber to tell my g.f to bring the cam.. Sorry havent been on in a while.. but im around just not posting..

lol been trying to keep my grades up.. avrging A's and B+'s..
I didnt really want to have to cut them and move them lol.. to lazzy for that and I have no time.
I saw a shroom floating around the other day wqhen I was doing a W/C I think it moved itself lol. I couldnt get to it since it went to the back of the tank.

Hey kat! Glad things are doing well for you. I would advise you not to help the xenias. Just let them work it out for themselves. It wont hurt them to have the bumps, I'm almost sure they would just grow into new "arms" if they dont attach to anything. So you'll just end up with bushier xenia instead of invasive xenia which is a good thing IMO.
I'm glad your candycanes are coming back too. I just had an incodent where my candycanes got dislodged from their perch and were found deep in the rocks. The tissue got torn pretty bad but after a feeding they are looking better. They are so resilliant, and that makes them one of my favorites!
Reminder: Pics!! Pics!! Call your GF!!

Thats the same thing that happened with my candycanes but they got burried in the sand or fell ontop of the sun coral.
They'll come back!
Yeah I have to get my g.f over so I can take some pics lol. But its kinda useless since everything looks the same size in the pictures lol.

Thanks!
I could possibly frag you a purple/blue shroom, I have a large one thats shadding out my red shroom that I need to chop up before my red shroom gets bleached out. I could either chop up the purple blue shroom into 4 or just give you a really big one. But that wont be for a while.. I'm in the middle of test's and approaching exams(N) damn seneca!
Post the pics of your zoas in here,, I might want some haha
Big als has weekly sales you just have to check out their website on a weekly basis to see if anythings good. This week they only have fish one sale.. ast damsels 3.99 and triggers/ tangs for 20. But thats only for the Vaughan store. I have to go pick up some water either tonight or tomorrow from their I'll let you know if any good corals are in.
