WELLLLL...A couple of weeks ago my pearly jawfish disappeared
I THINK I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED

Today my citron goby was dead, and when my yellow clown goby didn't come out for breakfast....I found it in the Coral Banded Shrimp's mouth

SOOOOO now all I have in the 29G (fish wise) is my chalk basslet

UGLY...I think they are pretty

I adored ours. He grew to be HUGE! He was a mean little one though. I would hand feed him and he would come and grab the food and give me a pinch before leaving. I don't think he was thanking me.
A couple of times he pinched the foxface and traveled across the tank with him.
Mean.

I don't think it is as much a fast fish as it is small fish. Small is a relative term here as the CBS grows.
Personally since my peppermint shrimp at all of the christmas tree worms, feather dusters I will not get another shrimp of any kind.
But that is just me.

You may have to get rid of him eventually Meowy, he's gonna get too big for that size tank. Will he be able to move over to the bigger tank eventually? I forget what you have in there.
You're gonna have to get the snack size food out of there. The smallest fish in my tank was a leopard wrasse, mandarin goby and a lyretail anthias... the rest were bigger.
