LOL....well this morning we had an "earthquake"...it was over in Ill but we definitely felt it this morning...i was asleep and looking....thinking...'oh gosh...i just tied my tank up...dear Lord please tell me the tank didnt fall over' causing the shaking house...haha...but went back to sleep. Later this morning to find out it actually was the result of an earthquake...good thing i tied the tank up!!!!! it could have definitely tipped since it wasn't that securely attached!

put on a 4th and final coat on this side...i was going to leave it but was worried because i didnt keep track of my layers...i know its over 1/4" for sure but other sides i'll be keeping track for sure now so i can decide if i need more or not.

Judging by how much you have used already, do you think you are going to have enough epoxy to finish the tank?

haha, join the list! I'm guessing for the tank alone all said and done it'll be $1100-$1200..........which is at least half of what you'd be able to buy it for in glass, and probably even better in acrylic. I only have one thing left to pay for, which is the glass pane.

THATS AWSOME

yea, i dont think it'll be any problem...i've use maybe half gallon to the hardener and maybe gallon of resin...almost have the bottom done, and the back is the last large piece...so i think i should have plenty..the sides and corners don't take much

put final coat of epoxy on the bottom tonight, no pictures though, sorry...i figured if i have epoxy leftover i'll do another coat on the bottom and back just for the heck of it.
