Bronco,
Just got back from vacation and see you got water.

I know this is your project, but I think I can speak for all of us that have either posted or just been following your thread that we all feel like a part of this project either in posting suggestions, ideas or just encouragement along the way. If I lived closer to you I'd wire this thing for free, just so I could be a part of this project.

At 20 pages, 773, replies and 22,998 views to date, "YOU ARE THE MAN".

I have just one question:
Is that Brandan Fish Aquacultured or Wild?

And how big will he get?

haha, thanks vette! I enjoy showing the progress of the tank, even if it is slow at times

Brandan is def a wild fish...and the stupid fish, already pretty well has outgrown the tank, stupid thing, so i released him back into the wild.

I totally know what you mean about picky about fish! I really like bannerfish (Heniochus acuminatus) which are unfortunately too big and active for my tank
but I don't think they are totally invert safe so that might count them out. Another really cool fish is the possum wrasse (I like it but it is a little funny looking) but it has to be with only very peaceful tankmates. I also really like the Powder brown tang (Acanthurus japonicus).

Tank is really coming along nicely Luke. Love the 8 way Ocean's Motions as well. Paul is a great guy to work with. They also make some nozzles that

[hr]
into bulkheads that make the output direction really adjustable. Just a thought.
I was going to say hi up at PA the other day but you looked kind of busy...
Keep up the good work bro.

that possum wrasse looks pretty sweet actually! I'll have to look up more about him, definitely like the red color...i do as well love the powder browns edging, i've had one before as well, beautiful fish and great personality...mine used to swim like crazy in between all the rock work..so fun to watch him.

lolol, are you just naming fish off, or actually suggesting them? I personally think harlequin tusks are ugly...love blue ribbon eels, i think they are amazing, but heard captivity is just about impossible so not sure i want to take something that amazing out if its doomed to start....like most of your other fish though..normally not much of a fan of wrasses though.

there a difference between a polynesian and normal yellow tangs?
yup the polynesians have a body like a hippo tang but are bright yellow, I like the look of them better than regular tangs, they are also about a thousand times less commonly seen in the hobby.

Thats the only time I can get my wife and sometimes my daughter to help with remodeling projects, the demolition.

after that, I have to beg to get help.

I have to say I have been following this since the beginning and WOW! I am planning to do this soon. Well as soon as the cash comes handy. LOTS of good info here! and one AMAZING tank!

lol, this isn't just a demo, this is carefully cutting a hole for the tank and front entrance to the tank...i dont want to start doing the hole and have the house fall on me,lol...come on down and help, and vini you can swim in the tank if you cut the hole, you just have to take a decontamination shower first
just think, if i got a couple of giant pumps on one end iu'd have my own motion swimming pool thing,lol..just have to take the mid braces out to swim.
thanks indigo!! still quite expensive, but with a little help by selling frags and old equipment, it sure does helpa ton! plus having a wife you can talk into letting you use some ring money into your tank since the wifeys is a couple grand and i get a measy couple hundred max,lol

AMAZING! I have been following this for a while and I just have to post. LOL. I love the fact that it is large enough to swim in! Not only is it MASSIVE, but it is an in-wall too! I am SO jealous! Do you have an estimate as to how much that beast weighs?

LOL, but what in the world, type of tang are you talking about reef? The hippo is the only species of true tang to have it's own genus (Paraacanthurus)
. No other fish really "looks" like a hippo structurally-wise.
