I'm new here so I havn't followed all the steps so closely. ( I'll have some questions for you later). Congrats it's nice too see the fruits of hard work realized. Quite an accomplishment.

thanks all, fine here, just have a extremely ill friend on the brink.....but to movepass, here are some pictures of what i've been doing, kind of hard to tell the slant in to the tank..

it will be up against the glas i believe...we'll see how it looks once its set without the marble if i want to cut it down to the wood frame or not.
on another note i forgot...i have ordered glass for the sumps, and should be here next week, where brandan will thankfully assemble them for me!!

I really like the angled ends! That is really cool! Well, the whole thing is really cool without the angles, but that just adds another element.

ive been following along for awhile and think its sweet how this project is coming together!

but just in case i missed it what type of lighting are you going to go with for this mammoth?

65watt incandescents. . . . .lol

don't ruin it for them! lol

it will be 2 400w retros on a lightrail with probably 4x39w T5, 2 on each end to help with any dim issues.
thanks for the compliments, I think the angles look great too, i put in the bottom across the shelf area...just have to use the router to finish it up, and then sell something to afford the marble or granite
