Do some searching on the coral banded. They are very opportunistic and can and do catch fish.
Agree go with the Stealth heaters.

yeah, i've read that alot on the coral banded, I still like him though, and my clowns are big enough and fast enough to evade him. We'll see how it goes though...
The clowns are doing great, surprisingly. The black is definately the female, she showed the picasso whats up last night, and all was good today. They still sort of avoid each other, but they do occasionaly swim around together. No picking or fighting as of yet. I'm not expecting anything bad to happen (crosses fingers)

also I found a clip on 150 watt viper metal halide light with brand new bulbs for $100 on cl. deal or no deal? I think I may get it. If I do should I get a glass top to keep my fish from jumping, and to keep evaporation low? input...etc... let me go find the ad and ill post it

good choice on the stealth. I got one in my fresh tank and salt tank. by far the best heater I have used. all the others seem to fluctuate WAY to much

Is it the deluxe model with the fan? If yes great deal. (Reg. $289)
If not still a good deal (Reg. $219)

no, no fan. I saw that. I wonder if I could buy an attachment with the big fan like that? I found one for $189 new with no fan, so I think $100 is reasonable. I'm waiting on email response. AND if not, I'll just plan on buying the solana pendant like I have been saying, when I get my income tax.

my best friend, and inspiration for starting saltwater, has decided to get out of the hobby It stinks, but Im getting a heck of a deal on a bunch of coral.
For $65, Im getting a frogspawn (6-8heads), 5 green and purple mushrooms, a r.d.e. zoa colony with over 100 polyps, a yellow feather duster, and a small colony of lime green palys mixed with eagle eye zoas (about 6 palys total). Pretty good deal imo.
Pics as soon as everything is added to the tank sometime this week.

yup this is normal, mine do it all the time, but no damage done.

How is that gorgonian going for you? Looks like it got smaller, but it could just be the angle.

Its the angle it is in the tank, I have it going straight instead of sideways I guess... I think a few of the tips arnt doing so good, but the rest looks just as healthy as when I first got it
