Be forewarned, the writers leaked that only the questions that a character would ask would be answered. So, there could still be lots of side questions that will never be answered.

That's what scares me about how they will end it. Through the whole thing, when they answer one question, they immediately present 2 more that aren't answered for 2 seasons, etc. How will they wrap it up?

My brain hurt after that opener. One minute, they were back on the plane landing in LA, going on with their lives. Next minute, back on the island like nothing happened with the bomb. Which one is it? Is it live, or is it Memorex?

I'm telling you.....My husband had to work tonight, and I told him I think I am more confused after this 2 hour premiere then I was before it

Yes, I fall into the category of "invested too much time to stop watching now". I don't even watch TV, other than sports, Survivor (most seasons), and LOST (every season). I was out tonight so I have not seen the opener, but I too am expecting some "back down to earth (hello...English for us morons) here this season.
But then again, I was the same way growing up watching Gilligan's Island. I was glued to every episode thinking..."this could be the one they get off the island". Then they come out with that finaly where they get rescued, then go on a celabatory cruise and get lost again...Stupid writers
Why couldn't they have just had the Professor knock up Mary Ann and all lives well?

I'm definitely in the "invested too much time to stop now" camp as well. I thought that last season was kinda weak and was hoping that last night's premiere would blow my mind. It was pretty lame as well...

We just spent all of 2009 watching all of the DVDs. I have to say it's a lot more fun to watch without commercials.

My wife and I are went on a Lost binge from Netflix and knocked out seasons 1-5 starting in November. Love the series. I really hope they spend most of this season resolving plots and not creating new ones. My feable mind can't handle any more twists.

Then I wouldn't try to start watching now, it's too complicated....save yourself.
LOL...I guess it wouldn't be that bad if you can rent all the seasons and get it over with in a few months....as compared to us still sitting here 4 years later ..... and STILL wondering
