Hey guys/gals,
So yesterday after work I went home and stared at my tank for a bit before I did my water change. As I was observing one of my rocks (live base rock), I noticed these tiny, tiny, bug lookin things crawling on one of the rocks. I mean they were micro small. They looked mostly clear too. They were basically see through. I would have taken a picture but they were so small they wouldn't have showed up in the picture. Any idea what these may be?
Never noticed them before. Would they maybe be tiny copepods?
Thanks!
Matt

The thing is, they "sorta" look like those pics. Actually smaller and narrower. Maybe a different species of copepods?

Yup. Come in on the rocks and coral. Good stuff, free fish food and they eat detritus to boot!!!!

I have movement!
I added my CUC yesterday and they are staying busy! I added three Nassarius snails, three turbo snails, and three blue-legged hermits. I will stock up my tank with more soon, just wanted to make sure the little guys stayed alive!

That's exactly my plan, thanks to all you guys for the tips! Is it sad that I come home from work, sit in front my my tank and take pictures and just watch snails and crabs?! You can tell I'm new! Here's a few more pics:

Help! Is this a good deal on a new light? Since I'm looking to remove my hood for better lighting, I found this guy near me selling this light.
The only thing is that its 24'' and I have a 30'' tank.

* Acrylic lens cover
24" 130 watts.....2 65 watt bulbs
Bulbs are 6 months old.

Would not be my choice upfront for your tank, the size being one thing, the other they are fluorescent bulbs and would not allow you to keep anything needing higher PAR value lighting, read clams, SPS coral and some of the LPS here.

Damn, well it would definitely be an improvement with what I have now. I currently only have 40watts total...

This light he's selling is a Power compact correct? From what a lot of people have said, you can use this light for a good amount of coral..
So you would recommend just getting a MH correct?

Not necessarily...You can get good T5HO lights and keep almost anything...BUT very important....get a fixture that fits your tank

+1 my choice is T5HO, the pc lights would work but you will be disappointed in the end and have to buy something else. and with 6month old bulbs you will be replacing the bulbs sooner than later as well. and definitely make sure you buy a fixture that fits your tank. i would go bigger before you go smaller.

Possibly sponge or tunicate. Looks more like a tunicate. Does it have two holes, siphons, on it?
It does have two hiles and siphons. I think you nailed it right on the head. I "googled'' tunicate and it looks just like it.
