You're never going to get good direct pics of the light unless they're dimmed. They're just too bright and the blues mess with the optics on the camera. Just like how you can never really get a good shot of a tank with just actinics on. But there are tips out there on how to get the best pics you can once they're on the tank. Unfortunately you'll never get a true representation of color to come across through a photo though.
Meters typically have fuses inside of them, he may have just blown it. I'm not 100% sure with the cheaper meters if there is a replaceable fuse in there or not.

What's wierd is the fuse is ok.....BUT solder had melted from one side of the fuse holder...where it is connected to the board...he soldered it back on..and it still didn't work. It was only like $10 LOL....I'll just go get another one...I guess

Fried the board then. Butter it up and call it toast.

HAHA
Well we have to get the moonlights set....then he has to actually make the housing....so who knows
Getting anxious to see this bad boy above the tank. I bet the par numbers would be pretty ridiculous. You're going to have to acclimate the tank slowly with these lights.

Well I'll be curious to see the numbers when he gets the fixture balanced out as far as the current goes. If the drivers are operating at spec then even with them turned all the way up the blues would be running at about 83% and the whites would be at 60% of their capable output or so. But I'd really like to see what the drivers are actually putting out as apposed to what they say they should be putting out. I'm thinking with everything turned all the way up it should be pretty close to the equivalent of running 3 - 400w halides with the optics you have on there.
