Meowzer's LED build

Was curious looking and thinking different things here......I just talked to Corey and he reminded me as of why the decision. I'm still thinking you'll find they are to many, and to bright.....But the driver selection was based off of being able to adjust them. My thinking from my 240 using the IceCap with just 3 was more than plenty and brighter than needed.....

I see that this project is still on going. I was contemplating on DIY LED myself but I was kinda scared after reading all this thread.

In the end, yours will look stunning but I'm too impatient and too stupid to pull one together so I settled for already made one lol.

Danny and Meowzer wouldn't call it scary....Frustrating and had to work through a few bumps in the road.....The biggest was the craziness with the main drivers, but honestly anyone would have probably run into that not knowing there was a change midway through production basically.

Yeah don't judge diy led building by this thread alone lol. When the Meowzer curse is involved...anything's possible.
We're all just a bunch of rookies here.

BAHAHAHA....GUESS WHAT......Just got home from work and the string of blues on the 54G LED light system is out

This light was shoddily put together, and Danny had mentioned maybe re-wiring it when we first got it.....I THINK THAT TIME HAS COME
BTW....it has 2 ELN-60-48P drivers.....but we have extra pots we can use.....I just need to order another 10V power supply.....can't start until we have what we need

OK,...so help me out here.....Does that mean I do not need a POT for these? and WILL a 10V power supply be good enough
I really do not care if they dim....since they don't now anyway
When you get the new 10v power supply go ahead an throw the pot on there for now. It's fine. The driver just needs a 10v signal to operate. Since you already have the POT, then might as well use it.
I think the confusion about using a pot on a ELN - P comes from the fact that pwm signal won't work on the D's.

Yes I thought you had mentioned it in the past. I think you made a thread when you first got those lights. Cree XRE perhaps?
