I have questions... like always!
1. Where is the power center going to be located once the lights are installed on the tank? Is it going to sit facing up (as it is now) on top of the tank?
2. What is the acrylic box/thing for?
3. What does the router do, and what is it used for?

1. The power center is obviously in the center of the unit....the whole unit you see there will be encased in the acrylic....we will have a lid on the top that can be opened if we need to get to the power center
2. the acrylic box thing is what all that you see will be sitting in.....I hope you did not think that ugly metal thing was it...LOL...that;s the insides
3. the router will be used to cut and smooth the edges of the acrylic

he has to still put the fans in.....and of course the casing

LOL...NO....Danny wants to go to Paris Friday so we can get another piece or 2 of channel.....he really wants some more support for the light in the center...
he also needs a thingamajig (I forget)....a hole saw bit I think...LOL....for cutting....UMMMM holes....bahahaha...He goes on nights tonight thru Thursday...so nothing will get done the next few days anyhow

your povver center is mounted on top of the actual fixture?
are you going to cover up all the connections? diodes and fuses and ac outlets etc?
fans?
your husband has done a very clean job.
i have some advice if you are interested feel free to contact me.
i am just concerned about that povver center being above the fixture and above tank.
heat/moisture/electric/heavy fixture..... not sure if its going to be safe.

YES...it is in the center...and will be encased in acrylic.....
I have no clue about the 2nd question....I will have to ask Danny when he comes in
We will have 4 fans......I think that is his next task
