rockwork is sweet, but add another island in the middle... it'll add filtration and fill out the tank more... You'll have to be very picky with tankmates for a toby and they're not reefsafe (I don't know if that matters to you.)

yeah the toby died but i have no clue why because the people at the LFS tested my water and said it was good and that i could buy him but maybe it was the fish not my water

That is a shame, but it wasn't a good idea in the first place
Stick with nano fish, such as sixline wrasse, clowns, gobies, some blennies, you don't want fish that are going to be messy eaters and really mess up your parameters since you are new to saltwater. I would also stop taking advice from your lfs, their job is to get you to spend as much as possible in their store. Meaning they already sold you a fish which had no business being in your size tank, now that it has already died guess what, you are gonna go back there and buy more fish.
Do your research first...then go buy fish, not the other way around. This will save a lot of heartache as well as a lot of money. There is a reason that a lot of us nano people have the same fish in our tanks, because they are proven to be able to live in such a small enclosed space.
I like your aquascaping but like you said you need a lot more lr, as for the lighting what about a used sunpod? You could get them in 70 or 150 watt and be able to keep anything

A couple of picasso clowns
If on a tighter bidget maybe a royal gramma or purple firefish. Plus a shrimp goby/pistol shrimp combo, they are so cool. Then stock that badboy with some coral

In reality you should decide before you go. Like I was saying before YOU need to decide what goes in YOUR tank, not what the lfs has to sell. They can probably get you just about anything you want, if they can't go somewhere else. Decide what fish you want, research how to care for them, then go and buy.

alright yea sounds good thanks for the advice!

all i want is to have a tank like ur guys
Just takes patience, you don't wanna rush out and buy whatever coral you can find. Take your time and choose wisely. Nanos are small and only corals and fish that you absolutely love should be in them. That way you can stop for awhile and just enjoy watching your tank grow out. My thinking anyways.
