nwdy.... There are a lot of us here that are more than willing to help you with your questions you just need to give us some time. Not everyone is on all the time and some people dont look at all the threads. You have basically hijacked blazins thread. LOL not a big deal on a whole but typically its better if you just go to the main page of the forums find the topic list your interested in posting in and post your questions there. You will not only get a faster response but more responses as well. Just my 2 cents... To answer your questions tank raised clowns seem to be hardier so people tend to like them more. Yes a lot of people here have ordered from the site you mentioned and IMO their quality is good. Hermits are a great part of your clean up crew and keep your sand bed healthy and your LR clean of all types of algea and small particulates. They are not necessary as snails can accomplish the same but just another choice. You do need a clean up crew as part of a reef system they are an important part of your tanks filtration and cycle.

Thanks for the comments PerfectDark. What do you suggest on doing with the Urchin ? Take it to LFS where it can live healthy in a much bigger tank or just keep him ? He does seem to be getting way too large and not having much space to roam around in. And NWDY i dont want to be mean but yeah i wish you would start your own thread somewhere else. I started my thread so people would respond to my tank pictures and the such. Now if someone wants to ask someone on here a question that is also helping me out as well then i dont mind but you are just starting out and need to be starting your own topic/thread in another section. Thanks if you can do that.

Well if you like it, theres nothing wrong with keeping it for as long as you can. They get quite large and tend to rearrange your tank a bit when they move about so as long as its tolerable I guess there is no harm in keeping it. They dont prey upon anything as far as I know, and are generally docil. But the spines can hurt and they are poisonous.

Here are some updated pics and a couple pics of my Goby protecting his buddy the pistol shrimp. They have such a cool relationship to watch and look so nice together and match perfect in color. Well hope everyone likes them. And can anyone tell me the name of these zoos ? Thanks if you can.

OK, well thank you for the advice. And I REALLY did not mean to insult anyone! there are no instructions on here. I will not come back again, and I am truly sorry

Ohh ok. I thought that were called something else. At least thats what the guy that sold em to me called em. I paid like 20 for that frag. Its grown alot as well. Seems zoanthids grow very very fast. I fragged off about 4 polyps of some pinks i have and now each polyp has 2 polyps growing on them and its only been about a month maybe or maybe less. Ive gone zoanthid crazy. wOUld go ric crazy but they are just crazy prices here. 70 dollars a polyp for a orange or pink ricordea. Thats just ridiculous.

Thanks Peef. Appreciate the comments. I try to do well with my tank. I have this 24 gal. Seems to be doing great so far :) And such a fun hobby but very expensive at times.

The only non-expensive time I have found is water changes! But oh well it is worth every penny!

Yeah , 5 dollars a week for water change is not anything. any hobby is gonna cost money usually though. Be it , collecting cards or sport figures or whatever. Its gonna cost ya money. So yeah i'm much happy with this new hobby and plan on taking care of my fish forever. Hopefully one day i can upgrade to a bigger tank !
