My First SW Tank 24 Gal Aquapod

Hey Blazin, VERY nice tank. I like the rockwork too, its not very high like most people's. Sun coral is looking great too.
Does your urchin hurt anything? Ive wanted one for a while but they all seem to be not reef-safe, same with most starfish. I mean brittles are reef-safe, but they get like huge, nor do I have enough rocks for one.

Paintballer768, Nah my urchin doesnt seem to hurt anything i am aware of except algae. Really to be honest i dont know what it eats or what type of algae but its aways roaming around my tank. Came in as a hitchhiker on lr. Was like the size of a dime. I didnt even notice it. But its a cool addition. I wanna get rid of it but i have become attached to it.

Yeah ITS REALLY GETTING LAME AND FRUSTRATING WIth these photos. WTF IS HAPPENING ? Does anyone know ? I tried posting pics on a new thread i started and it says Upload of file Failed. WTF. And now on my thread here none of my photos are showi8ng. Did someone hack their photo directory or what ? Can anyone tell me what to do ? thanks so much i'd appreciate it.

I don't know what is happening with your pictures. I have been following the postings and really learning a lot (I am cycling my first tank now). I am dying to see the pictures, but when I click on them, I too get a blank page. I registered so I'm not sure why this is happening. Do you by any chance, also happen to have them on a hosted site picture site like Photobucket? Thanks for sharing your postings. I am enjoying them.

Hey buddy try going to photobucket.com down load your pics there then copy and paste them here. that was the only way I could get my pics on here. check my thread I poted a responce there today for you,also getting a new piece today so hope to have new pics for everyone later today

Yeah i'll think about ya when i try to frag it out. It grows like mad crazy. Seems like there is a new baby on those palys every few days i notice a new one. Also which zoas are you talking about that look like eggs ? Which color ?

Oh yeah those are one of my faves too. They are really neat and have grown out well. Dunno what they are called but i got them for like 18 dollars i think. Can anyone ID this snail pls ? I am curious if it is a good snail or some coral eating snail. I guess it eats algae.

First of all let me start by saying that this is my very first post and purchase here at SF.com
I also have a 24g AquaPod that I set up 3 to 4 months ago. I purchase 50 herman crabs and some snails, I also purchased a royal gramma and a dotty back. I m very very new to the saltwater world. I have a elegant coral and zoos polyps and two densels one algea blennie, coral banded shrimp and a orange spotted gobbie.
Therefore I have to say that I love your tank, one because it is much kool looking, I have about 12-15 ponds of live rock and no sand.

Ok so here are some pics i took tonight and earlier today. I rarely get to see my Yashia Goby because my Dottyback picks on him when he comes out of burrow. But it is such a nice looking fish i cant resist to take pics everytime i see it. Ahhh i wish it would come out more often.

Well thanks nwdyr and OSUAqaurist, The zoos i buy as frags, Those pink ones i fragged myself from a small colony i have. I glued 4 polyps on the rock maybe a couple months back and now they all have at least 2 or 3 babies growing below them. And the goby is a Yashia White Ray Shrimp Goby, and it cost me 38 at my LFS, the randalli pistol shrimp cost 18 so i guess i could say i got a deal i was very happy with the purchase. I think i will be buying another pair of those today for my other 24 gal since i never really see this one much due to the orchid dottyback.
