Thanks!!! yea I thought it was weird to, but I guess its normal for some people, and then only on this tattoo(I have 4) it happen and the oozing scared me to, it was ALOT I could put my hand over it and looked like I was pulling slim away, I always tell people the healing process is worse then getting the tattoo itself, lol

but this one took four hours in two sessions, but im gonna get it finished when I stop spending money on my fishtank, and save money for that

This is only after the 2nd sitting, and there are at least 2-3more to go. I got it after I quit my job as a vet-tech and started my own cake design firm. There is MUCH more that's going to be there when it's finished, but it's probably going to be a while.... we are buying a house atm.

I think that is so awesome, to get a tattoo for your talent! I saw them on myspace and they are amazing!!!

here is my tattoo...it is a kio fish transforming into a dragon(chinese mythology)...i combined two things i have interest in...fish and dragons...its not fully completed yet...there will still be a cloud of water around the fish and all the fins and scales need to be completed...the last pic is a close up of the eye...BTW...this was about 15 min. after it was done...so please ignore the small blood spots in the 3rd pic...
also...the small water splashes at the bottem of the tattoo are my wife and i initials...J for my first name...M for her first name...and a bigger R for our last name...
EDIT...this is on the back of my calf...

WOW! I love the detail in this one!! Looks great! I almost got a koi fish, on my ribs but tried to be a little different, I would like to put a great white on my other side!!!

thank you! I love love love LOVE doing it- I'm actually just finishing another cake for a birthday party 2morrow night - I'll post a thread when it's done, I'm so stoked about it, it's coming out really well.
Actually - i was able to get an appointment w/my artist for next week.... i cannot WAIT!!! I go in n Friday afternoon for more cupcake tattoo madness!!!!!

yea, I would have already got another, same reason here after the third one the family wasnt to happy then the fourth came and they wouldnt even give me a comment, and now I hear allll the time, what are you gonna do tattoo your whole body!!, so I figured ill touch up or add to what I have to calm everyone down first, lol

The Mario mushroom is my version of a 'mom' tribute. (BTW, that black hair on my foot is NOT attached! It's from my cat, I swear!)

cant wait to see! sometimes cake designs just amaze me what can be done!! on the 4th of July I saw a hamburger cake with fries on the side and everything, but it didnt look like a cake at all!!

I drew up a pretty nice octopus. Then a dude at a tattoo shop told me everyone and their dog gets octopus tats. I bet they didn't draw theirs though!

Really I have never seen one! But im sure your right no one ever draws their own.

GETTIN' MORE WORK DONE ON MY TATTOO 2MORROW!!!!

Can't WAIT!!!! I'm prob not going to be able to sleep tonight...I'm soooooooo excited!!!
...I've made 2dozen red-velvet cupcakes 4 the tattoo studio, too - just waiting for them to cool so I can ice 'em w/my famous cream-cheese icing and then pop 'em in the fridge!!

Gosh I have to get some photos done. I have 5. One large one of an eye on my upper back, one design on my lower back with Kanji for honor that I had done when I lived in Japan and was in the Marine Corps, and a large one on my upper right arm and a garbage pail kid on my right side/rib cage that my artist actually put on his myspace. Oh and I have kanji on my neck that I don't tell anyone about....lol......it's a secret..shhhhh! And oh btw, your side is incredibly painful. I felt like I was dying or someone was stabbing me in the side.

Totally agree on the side/ribs!! Felt exactly the same
