IDK guys.......I know it's not the water cause YES, I have tested for everything....plus the clams, fish, and inverts (mainly shrimp) are all doing fine
I hope tomorrow things look better....cause IDK what else to do

It's probably nothing. I would just watch it carefully for the next couple of days. Maybe the tank is just angry about the holidays like me.

Leathers may be shedding, causing the other coral that are sensitive to that to misbehave. Chemical warfare type deal IMO. Do you run carbon in this tank and when was the last time you changed it out?

I run chemi pure elite, and just changed it November 20th
I added a phospure pad in the sump cause it has some carbon in it too.....I didn't know if I should add a baggie of carbon to the fuge or not ...
The toadstool sloughed off some stuff today and started to re-open, and the yellow seemed a bit "taller".....the tree still looks crappy, the FS looks "transparent" and the bubble coral is not as bubbly
I am hoping for better tomorrow

Well if I read back through your posts they seem to be doing better each day. Still thinking chemicals from the leathers here. Would not hurt to put a bag of carbon in the sump for a few days if you hae some laying around.

I just put some carbon in the sump.....the leathers don't look good this morning again....or in some cases still

VERY BAD NEWS My orange monti is bleaching.....so first thing I did after I got home I had my husband snap a few pieces off the top......I put them in the 29G for now
The leather tree is a little perkier, but still limpy....to tell you the truth most stuff does not look right especially my sps

I am making water tonight...and tomorrow night, and will do another 40G w/c Wednesday

Wow =( I am sad for you too.. It should not seem that the clam or the bottlebrush should have created an issue like that.. All your params are testing good right? Nothing has died in there to throw something out of wack? Or moving stuff around??

NOPE....there is no explanation that I can find
fish and inverts are great...as are the anemones, and so are the clams

I would think if it was a water issue the shrimp would show it....

YUP...I had to look back...put the new clam and bottlebrush in Wednesday night.....when I got home frm work Thurs night, I noticed my "unhappy" corals
Did the w/c Saturday......added carbon to my sump Sunday.....
came home from work today and the orange monti is half bleached

That is just crazy and you said that you husband didnt have anything on his hands when he put them in the tank? I just dont understand how if all your water Params are right on that this is going on.
