My tank so far

My sunpod came in today
and it is the prettiest thing I have ever seen, pictures don't even come close to showing the color the bulb puts off. I have not arranged my rock yet but I will post pictures again as soon as it's all set up.
The third picture is showing some funky white stuff that is inside on the glass
, does anyone have a clue what it could be??

start with 12on and 12off... run the MH and moonlights one reverse each other. Needs more rock lol.. that sand looks cool BTW.

I did that with my old biocube when I ran out of timers and got too lazy to buy another one...
It did add slightly more blue too!

Really more LR???? I feel like I don't have anymore room to put it. Any ideas on what the white stuff on the glass is?
not sure about the white stuff on the glass but yea more live rock will be good. just move everything around. more live rock is always a good thing. you have plenty of room

Does the white stuff on the glass wipe off? Looks like a precipitate, maybe calcium. If it wipes off and does not come back not to worry then.

Ahh you got a sixline... they're kinda pretty fish, dart around with chameleon-like eyes... But be careful man, they get territorial like crazy and mine has killed shrimp and snails, and even bothered my clownfish who was bigger than him! Just try not to have one fish in there for a long time, or else he'll start thinkin he's the big boss in the tank. Nice setup!

My subie has never been in the snow

Do you think the perc's will host my frogspawn? That is my coral that I bought, I love it

It's a possibility. Hard to say what they will host, because it depends on the fish themselves. I have seen them host zoas, powerheads, hair algae, etc. I hope they do host the frogspawn for you though, I am getting some myself soon and am hoping for the same thing. Were your clowns wild caught or are they tank bred?
