Have you ever looked at my thread? You will find 3 clams, birds nest and a green (not brown) Stylophora...
. My tank is a 29 biocube with the nanotuners 4.36 upgrade..144w 4 bulbs, no heat issues and the original clean look.
Just trying to give you another view of things! ok, everyone can begin yelling.

annnddd, nobody ever factors in the cost to run halides (possibly a few dollars more per month) compared to PC's... just more food for thought

Nice to get so much information prior to what is a big purchase. Getting it in your own thread is helpful but the great thing about SWF is that there is a section on lighting, coral or just about anything you want to know about reefkeeping. Do some more research, get some more opinions. Then make your decision based on what info you have and what your overall plans are.
If's really like anything else, what car, refrigerator, TV that you are going to get is based on your research into quality prices availability and what you ultimate goal is.
I don't think you are back to stage one, just continuing your investigation.

hey guys, quick question.. how would i go about pulling a very loose dangeling polyp(?) i dont even know whati have.. those green things i just got.. lolll..
how would i go about pulling a very loose one off, and trying to reattach it to another rock for faster spread... or should i just not touch it and let it fall off... (for some reason like 3-4 have fell off and i dont know where they are)...

picking up a 24gal nanocube!.. got the sickkkest deal on it..
now im going to upgrade the 24gal ligting... SUNPOD 150 or 250 or the 24 gal?

150 would be good. A bunch of members on here have the 150 on Biocube 29's and Aquapod 24's and keep anemones and sps, so I think you will be good to go. Congrats on your good deal
Are you gonna stick to stocking one at a time, or set them both up?

thinking about migrating when the time is right and whater levels r good to new tank, and setting this one as a QT or maybe just a FO tank?..
i would like 2 setup this one and only do corals and stuff grow themout quick and migrate 2 the "nicer" tank but i dont have the money to get sick lights for both tanks.. and it will take way to long to use one as a coral only.
Might as well set it up as a QT no?

You could do that. Then once you have all the fish in the 24 that you want, you could make this into a frag/growout tank.

my lighting sucks to make it that kind of a tank. LOL ..
to get this thing started.. should i pour some of my water from my water change into the new tank.. (3 gal or so) .. not that it will makem uch of a difference in a 24 gal.. but eh.. and how much of my live rock can i take out and swap into the new one without affecting the bioload of my current tank..

okie dokie, but why not? bad for this tank?.. i am however gonig to upgrade the fan in the back to a maxijet and move over the korallia 1 into the new tank.. i think its kinda 2 much current in this tank .. blowsmy sand everywhere to the point where i had 2 put it facing the tank.. if i need more current ni this tank (WHICH I DOUBT) i will buy a nano korallia for this 12 gal w00t w00t!

after moving 2 rocks from my 12 gal into my 24.. i found 2/3 of my turbo snails dead..
1 is missing, could be dead as well .. no where to be found ;-( .. yesterday when ic hecked my water params everything was good.

not smashed, 1 on the corner, 1 in them iddle.. already nothing in it.. maybe is?.. im not sure.. cant really see.. i will take it out as soon as i do my water change in 3-4 hours..
also found the last snail.. its alive.

lol ill just trash em, im sure theyre dead.. theyve been on the back with 2 worms in 1 of them.. LOL im sure its donezo...
