I dont know if i have too many rocks?
To large of rocks?
or am just plain stupid and cant stack these

rocks how there supposed to be stacked.. now i regret touching it in the firs place, i was decently happy with my first setup..
i just got annoyed and threw all that ---- in there and stacked them on one another so the LR does not die and when my koralia 1 comes in, i will set that up first and then start working with whatever room i have left.
any suggestions man?.. sorry i got really annoyed today and just had to vent. ahah

lol yea those are kinda big i have five smaller ones and it leaves more room to work with it. you could trade your lfs with smaller ones

lol could you really? i was really about 2 bash them with a hammer i was so annoyed.. and since we have a hammer lying around in the office cuz we are still settling in, i was really about 2 break them but i wasnt sure if i should or not.. lol.. how do i go about breaking the rocks down?

im not really sure lol i just know you can break them to be smaller. the only thing i could see is with a hammer?

Ronnie, that was the plan all along, mwhahah. just messing with ya dude. It's ok to vent, rock scaping can be tricky. And like a lot of us, it took us many times to get the rock just right.
I actually kinda like the first pic you posted, even though you threw it in, it has a nice shape, though its not practical. It does look like you have some rather large pieces. Maybe use two or three of the large ones and fit those on the bottom so they take up a lot of room but leave enough room along the sides around the glass. You will then want a few medium and small size to stack on those. Since you do have mostly all large pieces, you could try breaking them with a hammer, though I have never done it myself. If you do try it, be safe about it, cover your eyes especially.
It's too bad your LFS only had large ones. Worst case scenario, I would use only some of the big ones for now and maybe trade in the rest for store credit (if they will let you) and hope they have some smaller ones or maybe find another fish store that sells some. Other than that, maybe once you have cooled off give it another shot and see what you can come up with. I'm laughing at that piece of coral you hate, it looks something x rated. lol! If you hate it so much, trade it in for something better!

once my korallia 1 comes in, i will go in to give it another try. Hopefully by then the LFS will have his rocks.. he said they will be in on Monday. As for the stupid dildo rock that i hate, ima chuck that at the wall when i go into reaquascape. LOL.. if korallia comes in before LFS gets rocks, im bringing out the hammer.. wish me luck.. lol

arrrite guys, its finally that time. I am satisfied with my tank, and rocks. Although i had to lose 2 pounds because honestly i couldn't get that last damn rock to fit into anything i am satisfied with the tank. I have PLENTY of holes, and cracks and dead space at the bottom left of the tank to put all sorts of corals and fun stuff, lots of little caves between the rocks for the fish to play in and all sorts of that fun stuff. Im too excited, took a bit to finally get it done and at the end of the day i didn't go with the style WHISK went with even though i said i would. Its okie, im finally satisfied.. what do you guys think?... As far as my rocks go i brought out the old hammer and smashed the living ---- out of a few of them, rinsed them down with TAP FRESH WATER (it was only like 2 pounds of rock at most) but i didn't have enough salt water to rinse off the nassssssty dust from the hammer hits, but then i rinsed it off with salt water at the end of the day.. my buddy said it would be fine? Any input? Im not to tooooooo worried as it was barley 2 pounds maybe 3 at most.
As a few of oyu mentioned i needed some "flat" areas, i added a ton.. give me your inputttt.
I also tested my water.. from what it looked like in person.. my results looked as follow but look a bit different in pictures.. this is wut i wrote down on a piece of paper to post here...

Left side: On the top Left of the tank where the filter sucks in from.. there is supposed to be a cover but when i bought it from my buddy he didn thave it.. i forgot what he said happened to it but do you guys think its a big deal for me to order a new one off JBJ (its the only place u can order it from) LFS said it shouldn't be a problem
