That was a good game. So much for the myth of SEC being a superior conference though. Only one solid win so far. Lot of fun games this year.

Great game between Michigan and south Carolina... bad outcome.
For anyone who watched the game... best hit I've seen all year where that Carolina guy caused the fumble on the Michigan running play. Met The RB immediately in the backfield and knocked his helmet off. Game changing play.
If you didn't see it, the highlight will be on plenty.

I really thought Michigan would lose bad. Also surprised how long Nebraska stayed in the game with the dogs.

How bout those Clemson Tigers winning the most exciting bowl game of the year over LSU and Les Miles on a last second field goal?!? No one gave Clemson a chance within 10 points of a dreaded SEC foe. And if you look at the numbers, Clemson dominated the game too. 445 yards to 219 for LSU. Six sacks. Ran ONE HUNDRED plays on offense. One of LSU's defensive linemen said they couldn't keep up, that all their bodies were breaking down in the 4th quarter.
Let me have my moment before you all send me crashing back into reality :)

Hey remember that time that the SEC was far and away the most dominant conference in all of the land? You should ask Louisville (beating Florida), Clemson (beating LSU), and Northwestern (beating Mississippi State) how they feel about that statement. Or maybe you can ask South Carolina who had to use and a wing and a prayer to beat Michigan of the lowly Big Ten. Or maybe it was Georgia's comeback victory over big underdog Nebraska. The only convincing win by an SEC team was, drumroll... Vanderbilt, over a crappy NC State.
Yet you still have people saying that Notre Dame has no chance against Alabama because they play in the SEC. Yeah, that clearly is the case

I really didn't have a horse in this race, but I'm gonna be an Irish fan after reading the repeated arrogance of all the SEC fan boys...

Next year it will be the same tired ol excuse. "We have to schedule division 2 teams and doormats because the SEC is SOOOOO much better than the other conferences". I just think they need to come up with a standard for out of conference schedules.

ND but I don't think they can handle the speed of Bama. I think Oregon would have been a great matchup with them.

Alabama just gashed them.....I favor ND cause I'm not a "Nick" fan......but Alabama are man handlers on both sides of the ball compared to ND.....Oregon has no defense though....

As if ND didn't have a hard enough task you get the officials against them too. On that pass everyone was worrying about if he was in bounds the receiver was mauled while the ball was in the air, then the punt play, the ND guy was shoved in the back, not only shouldn't have been called for interference Bama could have been called for a block in the back.
This is going to get FUGLY. ND just can't contend with the speed.

I think the pass was juggled.....During the replay you can see it "bobbled"......The punt....questionable......Like they say the "12th" player can make all the difference......

On the pass I am talking about interference not being called, I didn't think he had the catch although I do think they should have reviewed it, it was close.
